Finally! I got a signal and I did it! I stayed in about two minutes, and I made a £5 profit! My account was at £350, and its now at £355!

Yay! And considering the bet was on the Dow (each bet "costs" £4) - I'm very, very, very pleased!

Did I say I was pleased?

"Karmacat's DFW journey to riches". Oh yeah, baby! :j :j :j I'm just so pleased to have cracked the drought!

Thanks! I am, I'm really chuffed, it feels so liberating to use that knowledge instead of uselessly frittering it in fear and worry! The next task is to use it *regularly*, but tonight I'm celebrating!

Well done, I'm really chuffed for you that you finally did it!

I've just realised that I haven't posted on here for ages - I've been reading every day, just not got around to replying. I wasn't ignoring you, honest!:o

:(:( I could make this run and run, you know! I could squeeze out a *lot* of crocodile tears! :D:D

The next thing is regularity, but I don't feel that great today, and when I feel dodgy I'm always concerned about missing some of the elements that go to make up my signal - there are about 5, and they pretty much all have to be there to make a signal thats got a 75% chance of being successful, but if I'm under the weather, its odds on I'm not going to assess them properly. I'm not sure if I'll be trying today - it confirms the importance of what lots of the trading books say, about having a well balanced life in order to be able to trade properly.

To that end, I'm DVDing another New York City Ballet workout. If I'm going to a ballet class at the beginning of September (like RedSquirrel and I have been chattering about) I need to get my act together.

Its arrived already! I'll start it in a bit, but I haven't opened it yet, as (very unusually for me) I have a friend coming round this afternoon, and she can be here to witness the victorious final assembly!
