Right - I lost my first post, so I'm having another go at my list, its a much freer day today so there is some point in actually making one. So:
    - fund my new bet24 account, and join and fund betdaq through quidco, so I can place my first euro matched bet.
    - look at a new sterling bookie, stanjames, I think.
    - do the lightspeed surveys on offer, and claim the £10 for an amazon voucher.
    - um, when I've done that, order Season 10 of Stargate..... Ive already got £15 of vouchers waiting to be used, and I *want* Season 10 - but Sky aren't repeating it yet, and .... well, I want it!
    - check online banking, France and England.

Hey Karmacat - that's what I love about the vouchers from surveys etc because it's guilt free spending!! :) I know I could be using them for presents etc. but LOVE spending them on books. I bought a book about Georgia called Stories I stole and have nearly finished it - just as the whole Georgia/South Ossatta/Russia thing kicked off - and hte sad thing is, I was really excited to actually know the places and things they were talking about from reading the book. Hmm...all good :)

hope you have a productive day.

  • Oo Horace i agree with you , i feel akward drinking out of a pint glass and avoid it at all costs. There used to be lots of glasses for every drink.seem ...they just don't seem to bother any more!

HI KC season 10 on stargate is so worth the vouchers! I have a £15 Amazon one..hmm what can i put that too?

Morning Sea, that sounds a brilliant book..will have a look at the blurb about it.
Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
Still lurking around with a hope of some salvation:cool:

Thanks guys! I think I expected a telling off :o for spending the vouchers on myself. God, I really have forgotten how to have fun!

During my early coffee break :D I've been watching a tv programme I taped from last night, on BBC4, about Liverpool - it was brilliant, altho I come from a river family, thats from my grandad, not my dad, but all the things they were talking about - the pride, the poverty, the humour, the rebelliousness, the solidarity, even the amount of American influence - I recognise it all, even if I don't have it myself - I'm rubbish at the quick wit that Scousers are famous for, so's my sister, but my brother has it in spades. Sigh.... when I'm rich, maybe I'll winter in Barcelona and have my English home in Liverpool. That would solve a lot of problems, actually.... ooh, I might have hit on a plan. :D

Okay, not bad.... and I'll try betdaq again later on.

Also emailed my main mystery shop group, they put two offers up on the website TODAY, both dated for the 14th. D'oh!!!! So they rang up and assigned both of them to me, thats a tenner tomorrow.

What the h*ll have I been doing???? There's nothing else on that list I can tick off! OTOH, I did have two phone enquiries I had to speak to at length today, couple of emails I needed to write. Piece of work in the afternoon, that kind of stuff.

Um, I've been looking at a *lot* of diaries today... maybe thats it? But I like knowing whats going on with people! Off to tae a break now, but maybe will come back to the comp later to finish off some stuff.

Good question! :o Thanks for asking :o:o Okay, here we go:

    - have done an email to a client, which is unlikely to come off, but still...
    - tried to do an email to check on some professional development hours, but will have to send it to another email address
    - decluttered a corner of the living room I need to use more if my "relaxed trading" plan is going to come off.
    - put washing up away.
    - ahem, put kettle on for 2nd cup of coffee.... :o
    - been watching the trading. Got distracted and didn't do the trade I'd been waiting for - doing it too late is called "chasing", and almost never works. This is the big bugbear, aside from my own fears - staying focussed long enough to be on the charts when the signal comes.

And for the rest of today:
    - coffee!
    - an hour's paid work.
    - contact Southern Water and tell them I want a water meter. I finally got onto their site yesterday evening and used their calculator to see if I'd be better off.... according to THEIR calculations, my bill would go down by about £28 a month!!!!! So that *has* to be done today, thats absolutely mad. I was thinking conservatively it might be £10, but this is madness. And think how much money I've wasted over the years! Okay, rant over....
    - I'll be checking out my afternoon trading plans, for the Dow Jones, staying with them, and hopefully making a trade. If I don't do it soon, I lose the NatWest money!

Thanks Sea - that focussed my mind. I'm going to hop over to your thread to see what's going on for you, and *then* do my coffee.
