Hi Sea! Well, some good news, some bad news.

    - coffee! done need another one tho
    - an hour's paid work. done
    - contact Southern Water and tell them I want a water meter. £45 down to £17, according to their calculations! done
    - checking out my afternoon trading plans, for the Dow Jones, staying with them, and *making* a trade. I'm there
    - email to beloved American cousin done
    - email re. professional development hours. done
    - contact electrician as recomm. by Southern Water to find out about electrical earths connected to water pipe, eek.
    - print out, do and submit two mystery shops. printed. Abandoned! See below....
    - order Stargate SG1 S10 (totally using gift certs!) done :j

Okay, still need to contact the electrician, but that isn't urgent.

The mystery shops! The vagaries of their instructions about how to get a phone call recorded by them are insane. Maybe its just me, I'm quite precise but I'm quite slow too. Whatever the reason, the effort isn't worth it. I could finallyhave done my trade to keep the NatWest money in the time its taken to do this! Or at least have found another matched bet. Not going to bother with a recorded mystery shop again..... sigh....... off to get a consoling coffee. And why won't mse let me stop using italics??? :rotfl:

Off to Sea's thread to find out what's been happening.

:o omigod, I wish it did. Depends if another signal comes up - its only the start of the American day, well, their elevenses, so it might. There was a lovely one at twentyfive to four! I came out of my session at 3pm, I'd have been on the trading and doing. Instead of which I was pratting about on the phone and not getting through to anyone. Printing useless paperwork and spending money on useless phone calls that ended up with them. Life's too short! I'd deffo rather be doing trading or a matched bet. :D:D:D

Oh Bob! Honey, I confess I sat on it for days thinking about it before even mentioning it on here. I understand, I do - its reduced, but its still £22-25. That was a lot of surveys, especially counting the ones I got turned down for. And how many hours work is it? How old is DS? Can he do something in return in the house or the garden?

:rotfl: Sorry! I know what you mean, I keep thinking about Pania too. And now I'm also going to be thinking about you and your classes, and Bob and SG1 season 10! Life is hard!
