I did everything on my list! Just time to wind down a little bit now, and I've even got a treat cooking in the oven (and I finally used up some very, very old flour :o see what a grocery challenge does to me??) :T

Ooh what have you baked? :D

Well done on getting through the list - better than my pitiful progress today. Got rather caught up in a certain tennis final.... (tennis being the only sport I was interested in before matched betting! :D)

:o Hi folks! The eco houses have absolutely inspired me :D - even the boring development yesterday was great, tho it was more for a family and they're taking the mick with the prices.

The mystery shops - I do check back regularly, I must say - it satisfies the OCD in me! And Mizmir - if you get to read this, I'll do you a reference too! Of course I will!

The baking wasn't *quite* so successful - I just baked a crumble mix, but its a bit too dry, I might actually mash it up with some (good) margarine to eat the rest of it. Still very satisfying tho :p

I really can't remember what I was doing while the match was on, cos I didn't watch it... oh. I was baking. And washing up. :o Oh no I wasn't! I watched Top Gear :j :j :j and then the thing after it about conspiracies around Tower 7 at the World Trade Centre.

Right :money: :money: :money: My list today:

    - two mystery shops (phone) done the phoning, got to do the inputting. 3.45pm: done, and a whole load of other ones bagged as well. Counting inputting for one last week, I have 8 this week! :j
    - try sky free bingo
    - virtual trading - ahem, bad today, can't decide if I'd have made a particular trade or not, but if I had I'd be looking at a loss of 20 points or so. Par for the course, really. decided. I wouldn't have done it, cos downward trend over the past week, and the small daily upward trend had come and gone between 7am and 8am. So many chances to earn so much money, I'm not even going to say how much I passed up on cos I didn't do it  . Just hopping on over to the Dow Jones for the afternoon.
    - stay with the inspiration from the eco houses. yep. Been writing some stuff.
    - try to get the rubbish bin filled up during breaks in the showers - thats also known as "clearing the patio"... :oyep, gonna count that as done. Bin is now almost full, just space for what's left in the kitchen bin tonight.
    - write to my bank, maybe - not the French bank, can't bear to do that, but the English one, about the trauma they put me through incorrectly deducting money and giving it back.

Hmm. Can't think of much else. Oh good grief. I should be putting stuff on ebay or preloved or whatever, shouldn't I??? :o

Morning! It doesn't matter if the baking wasn't perfect, the thing is you did it! :D I attempted to make puff pastry yesterday, and ended up with some sort of buttery mess, but it still 'worked' as pastry and tastes ok.

Sounds like a busy day - have fun! x

Hiya! I like the poison thing! El, I didn't put marg in right now (tho I might this evening) - just mixed some jam in, tastes absolutely fine to me! Redsquirrel has made nettle and dandelion pesto, how' that for good going!!!!

Looking at my list - think I might do a very quick patio dash, while the rain's holding off, then a cuppa tea till 2, working then. Bye for now all, keep on keeping on (groaning as I typed it, but can't resist putting it in anyway, sorry all!.

I want to be green but not for half a million.I do think all new houses should be built that way as a matter of course.Do you know that in Cuba they have no gas and that every house is supplied with a slow cooker and energy efficient stuff provided by the government and that electric is supplied by wind turbines and solar panels!!!!..if a third world country can do it (their government supplies the stuff) then why can't our government do it.They have a pretty cool system in that country and nobody starves..how good is that?

In some areas they are testing solar panels so you can get them very cheaply, no idea how you find out about it though  A co-worker has applied as was told about it through a friend
