I hope everybody had an enjoyable day. A couple of mine have delicate heads curtesy of beer pong and other games!!! Pictionary usually mean Dh and I file for divorce but as weren't on the same team it went very well and my ribs hurt from laughing!! Just had a use up of the leftovers, still got some turkey left and I'll probably make a turkey and broccoli bake to use it up. Off to try and find a film we can all agree on to watch

Took the mutts to the beach yesterday, very windy but great to be out. Old collie decided she's still got it and tried to herd the cows that were on the beach, they weren't very impressed and neither were we! Luckily they chased her and for an old girl she's still got a turn of speed! DS1 has split up from his girlfriend, he's supposed to be coming here when he finishes work. Time will tell if they stay 'split'.
Our microwave died on Christmas Eve, luckily we could nick the one we use in the workshop. Today I collected a new one from Argos and got some wool as I'm back crocheting again and nearly used up the last lot. Messaged a chap I bought some jeans off, I've been to his shop but as he's based in Edinburgh we did it via Whatsapp. I'm going to send them back once he's open and hopefully DS2 will get a better fitting pair.

The farmer puts them on the sand dunes and feeds them. Usually they're nowhere to be seen or in the distance chomping on some seaweed. Forgot to mention the chaps have paid for me to go to a personal trainer, its badly needed as my health scare earlier this year is weight related. Plus I've got the incentive of my nieces royal wedding to hopefully attend in August. As you can tell I'm not looking forward to the event as I've been listening to my sister going over it and how much its all costing. Not to mention the fact that we've got to travel a long way and get accommodation etc. Sigh.

I never knew cows liked seaweed. You're educating me now LOL. Good luck with your personal trainer sessions. I could do with some of them too...Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Had a rude awakening this morning, our house phones stopped working on Christmas Eve, organised BT to come and look at them today and they were here very early. Needless to say we were still lolling in bed, hastily threw on some clothes and tried to look like we'd been up for hours!!!
I phoned M&S to get a balance on my card as the statement had arrived but I knew it was more than that, it came to £684 (I had in my head nearer £800) so cleared it. I know there are still a couple more transactions to go on so I'll phone again on Thursday to get an update.
I paid for all the naughty M&S snacky food with the vouchers I get for using the card. I did feel a bit smug when I only had to put £1 towards it and that was because I didn't have a £1 voucher, so still got some left to use.
Taking the dog to the vets tomorrow to see if she's in pup. I don't think she is but best to know one way or another and yes it was planned.
