Well that was a complete waste of time.  Nothing in stock at Ikea, poor OH drove down with the trailer and we didn't need it.  The place was heaving and I felt quite stressed by the time we got out.  Not much evidence of social distancing, glad to get out.  Managed to order online and the delivery is 29th November, which is a Sunday so that's fine.  Hope they can find the house ok.  Off for a cuppa then bedfordshire

How irritating about having to go all the way to the shop and find it was out of stock. Glad it was sorted in the end

So in most exciting news we have just arrived back from collecting DD2 from the airport!  All chicks will hopefully (government depending) be home for Christmas for the first time in 3 years.  She's going to be following the guidelines for the next 2 weeks.  Hopefully we won 't kill each other by the end of it!
Shop currently closed but still doing a little bit online and getting caught up with other jobs.

Saw all the chaps yesterday and we had a walk with 6 dogs to a spot we took a photo 10 years ago.  Had the chaps in the same positions and took another one.  Will possibly do it again in  10 years time!  Didn't go mad on the Black Friday deals but bought things I was going to get anyway.  The ikea order arrived today, so far built a double bed 2 underdrawers and a chest of drawers.  Still a lot to go.  Bit annoyed at DS2 as some of its for him and he hasn't appeared from his gf yet, so none of his stuff has been built.
Got a car for DD2 last week, noticed its got an oil leak in the gearbox.  Tried to call the warranty line but nobody available and to try the website.  Tried the website it said to phone.  Not happy.  Will speak to the dealer who sold the car and if he can't get them to ring its going back under not fit for purpose.
Sold a big machine that's been hanging a round for a while.  We're going to deliver it on Thursday but will take all day as its very heavy.  OH will need to take the sides off the trailer as it wont fit otherwise.  Just waiting for Decembers payments to go out and we'll be another step nearer.  Need to sort out pressies and get them wrapped.  Was hoping to go away on my Birthday but it doesn't look like that's going to happen as we're in the wrong tier.  Have moved it to the following weekend in the hope that the tiers change on the 16th.

The manager for the house sent me a picture of a slate that's come off.  He asked his handyman to contact me regarding putting it back.  He quoted £150 to put 1 slate back.  As its on the garage it can wait till we're up.  Thought that was a bit eye poppingly expensive.  Managed to get on the Debenhams website and bought 2 mattress protectors and double sheets.  Now all that chaps have double beds I haven't got enough sheets, so that was a win.
Still moving into the new shelving system we setup at work at the beginning of the 2nd lockdown.  Hopefully have it done by the end of next week.

Good news on selling stuff. Sad about the car. Sounds like you are staying at on plan though

Decided the warranty isn't worth the paper its written on and we'll do the work ourselves.  At least we know its been done properly and will probably change the belt as well.  Its getting 2 new tyres and tracked tomorrow.  Need to try and get the chaps to have a quick look at mine as the wash tank is leaking, just hope its a pipe thats come off.  Had to take the dog to the vets as she pulled a claw on her foot which needed snipping, she's all sported apart from having a blue foot from the spray.
Went through the presents I've bought just about there.  Need DS2 to send me a link to something he wants and some bits and bobs and I'm done.
