Haven't seen DS1 since last week but think he's ok.  Got woken up by DD2 calling from  NZ she'd forgotten the clocks had changed so it was 5.30 here.  Her road trip is going ok, I have a feeling she might be back in the UK before the end of the year.  We both worked all weekend and will probably do the same next week.  We're still hoping to go up north for 2 weeks but it will depend on  what the powers that be decide.
I found out this week that the lady who was housekeeping the Skye house and didn't want to do it anymore because she didn't feel safe, is still cleaning another house that she did.  A bit gutted and hurt as I thought I'd found a friend but feel exceedingly let down.  At the end of the day its up to her who she works for, not sure what I'll do or say when our paths cross.
Got my M&S bill through I owe £2.98 had hoped for zero but I'll take that.

Have made a boob and bought some books on my kindle that I already have.  Not sure how to send them back but I'll have a go.  Working from home today, well supposed to be, need to find my get up and go!  Had a sports massage yesterday so achey today but in a good way.  Some bits are very tender.  Got the bedding  in the wash so need to get that dry ready for tonight.  I'm going to prep some meals ready for going away (hopefully still going to happen).  The plan is to make Pork in Port, Lasagne, chicken and broccoli bake.  It'll help to keep costs down and I don't think anywhere  is going to be open.  Hoping for a nice couple of days then we can get the outside of the house painted.

I've done the same thing. It's annoying because kindle should tell you if you already have the book in kindle format so you don't double buy, doesn't of course work if you have a hard copy.  There are some books where more than one publisher has the kindle rights (E C R Lorac  is my main issue) or the book is renamed (Judith Cutler Sophie River series) so I have been caught out.

Well, that's my plans scuppered.  Need to think what we're going to do with the business and about furloughing.  Lots of head scratching going on.  OH managed to get a forklift truck we've bought moved today.  It took all day as it wasn't for loading on the trailer, one of the chaps friends came with his tractor and low loader.  We tried it on our trailer but it started creaking before it was fully on and we decided it was too heavy.
Tried to get a delivery from Ikea but it was showing as 4th December, so it looks like we're going to go tomorrow night and see if we can get everything.  Had to change the bed DD1 wanted as it was out of stock.  DD1 is really fed up as she was looking forward to going away, as were we all.  She's worked every day the last 2 weeks and will now be working next weekend.  She's asked for a long weekend off.  The pressure is off to do lots of cooking, however most of the ingredients have been bought so I'll have to pull my finger out.  If we do manage to get some downtime (there's loads of business things we can do even if shut) I'd like to try and inventory the freezer before Christmas.
