So I was another year older last Friday.  Couldn't go away as planned but have moved it forwards to this weekend, it all depends on which tier we end up in.  OH took the day off so we went out and about to pick up last minute bits and bobs.  Had some lovely prosecco from M&S need to try and get another couple of bottles of that.  Shop is closed from Monday till the 4th of Jan, when hopefully we'll be up north, again depending what happens.  Just waiting to head off to get my B12 jab.  Finished wrapping presents but not written any cards yet.  House is still like a bombsite as DS2 hasn't built his bed which was delivered  a couple of weeks ago and we're waiting to get his mattress so we can take a job lot to the tip.  He made a start last night as he could tell I was beginning to lose patience with him.  Right better get my skates on.

DS2 has finally built his bed with help from me and OH.  I wouldn't say its finished as his room is a bombsite, at least I can close the door!  Once again we didn't go away but was prepared for it.  Got a booking for the house for over the Christmas period but decided not to take it as it would be breaking the rules.  I've updated my phone as I got an offer through to renew early without any penalties, my old phone couldn't hold its charge.  Now possess a shiny new phone and driving the chaps daft as I try and get to grips with the new technology.

I'm feeling a bit meh at the moment.  Not because of covid or Christmas, just feel like its me that does everything and I only seem to open my mouth to nag.  Classic example, OH took the bin bag out the kitchen bin and put it in the dustbin, great he's done something without being asked.  Then couldn't find the binbags (in the cupboard where they always are).  I go outside to put some recycling in the bin and kitchen bin bag is in there.  Now I do wonder how difficult is it to distinguish which colour bin is which and what goes in each one.  We have a dumpy bin we put the glass recycling in, today empty tins in it.    I know its not the end of the world etc but its so bloody wearing!  I feel like I want to go to bed and get up in spring.  No actually I feel like going away and leaving them all to it!  It's not helping that my sleep is rubbish at the moment.  Another thing, we'd decided we were closing after today, then it got moved to tomorrow.  So I put orders in to come tomorrow and now he wants to shut today.  !!!!!! make your mind up!!

Sounds like you needed a good vent. I think a lot of us are frustrated, disappointed, angry, sad and resentful that 2020 and even its ending isn't going to plan. I certainly am. My sleep has gone completely to pot
