Spent the morning brushing 2 of the mutts. We tried to make a resin covered picnic table but it hadn’t worked. The resin hasn’t set properly. Anyway one of the girls likes to lie on the table a bit like a princess ( also out the way of the puppy). So she laid on the not set resin but. Her backside was a mess of tangled hair. I had to take the scissors to it, so she looks ridiculous. She’s at the vets for the stupid pet check and the puppy’s there for her next lot of jabs. Told OH not to give her breakfast as she’ll probably be sick and I’ll give her some when we get back.
Managed to bag a Morrisons slot for Monday. Car is also in for MOT, OH will drop it off and grab a lift with his work wife.
Daughters and adopted daughter arriving late Tuesday probably more like very early Wednesday morning.
Off to Skye live on Thursday night and meeting some of OHs younger work mates at the venue.

Just Tuesday to work this week. Got a Morrisons order to collect tonight. OH has dropped the car off for its MOT and will collect it on his way home, which unfortunately doesn’t tie in with the food collection. I’ll need to grab a birthday card for DD2s birthday on Wednesday and she’ll be here.
Burnt 2 fingers at work last night, enough to bring a tear to my glass eye, certainly a few sweary words bandied about!! Did 28 covers so that wasn’t too shabby, just me in the kitchen but had a KP to do the pots.
OH was really helpful yesterday morning, used the quad and borrowed naught next door neighbours trailer to move her horse poo onto the flower bed we are making. We ran out of the good stuff so had to stop plus I was going to work. The plan is on Sunday to take daisy digger up to the muck pile and get the good stuff onto the trailer and get it finished. Then put the back boards in, weed suppressant matting down and I can start planting.Today I need to apply moss killer and spot spray the ragwort that’s starting to appear. Need the grass to dry and it’s supposed to rain this afternoon so need to keep an eye out for the window of opportunity. If it dries quickly I need to paint the empty log box. Also need to bake a hedgehog cake for DD2s birthday and a Victoria sponge for the surprise baby shower on Friday.
Im struggling with my feet and arm. I’m considering getting a steroid injection for my arm. Not really sure what to about my feet. I already have orthotics for my shoes and purchased the shoes they recommended to help my gait. My feet aren’t too bad when I’m wearing the shoes it’s when I take them off. The left foot feels like it’s on fire and I can’t bear the weight of the duvet on it. The right one is starting to ache more than it did so whether I’ve subconsciously changed the way I move and that’s a consequence of that I’m not sure. So between the tag team of arm and feet my sleep hasn’t been great. Ideally I’d like an mri scan on my feet just to know what is going on, the chances of that are slim.
