Well, I've just been unexpectedly out and more snow which has frozen so hope all is well with driving for you

I’ve swapped my Saturday night to work Sunday as we were going out to see a comedian. However just read on fb that it’s cancelled. Annoying.

Outer isles looking glorious. OH got sent home for another snow day, though the roads weren’t too bad. 

I cleaned a cottage and got some scooby snacks on the way home. I got a message to say that the b&b had no guests and she was closing so no work. 

Spent a pleasant afternoon with OH sawing up all the old fence posts. The log storage is full again. Had leftovers for tea which was very nice. 

Had a lovely chat with DS2, he goes off shore next week until the 11 December.

Sadly no snow day for OH today, he’s just left. Also no comedian for us as that’s cancelled. I think there’s a craft market on in the village hall I might go to. I’ll see if my neighbour fancies a ride out. 

Then it’s trying to remember how to join my crochet squares together, a Quick Look on YouTube should be enough of a reminder. Roll on payday and I’m not sure if this month is bonus month.

Have a look on Attic24's website for sewing up crochet squares.  I used her method and it looks very neat.  Along the lines of right sides facing single crochet along the seam putting hook through the outside of the loop on each square (not through the whole stitch).  She obviously explains it much better than me.  I'm just putting a border round the blanket I've made for dgd.

Just got my payslip and I have received a bonus less tax. 

Had a very enjoyable day with OH. Axe throwing is my forte, not called a battle axe for nothing. OH was excellent at archery. I thought he’d be good as he was good at shooting. We drew in the competitions so will have to book a re match. 

Arrived home and one of the neighbours pooches had escaped so took her back and had a brew. 

Yesterday was thoroughly miserable weather wise. Did get the stoves chimney swept. Once that had been done went to look at ladies mahoosive poly tunnel and fruit cage. We don’t want one as big as that (22m) and it had great raised beds. We got soaked right through to underwear but enjoyed being out and about.
