Not really ill as such, just a CBA. Couldn’t shake. Realised I was overdue for my B12 jab which would probably account for some of it. Managed to get jabbed yesterday and booked the next appointment which is the end of January!
Payday shuffles done and 1 more payment to go out on the 4th and then what’s left is mine (not very much!)
OH and I were talking about his 60th, not for a few years. He thinks he’d like to go back to Sri Lanka. So I’m going to set up another pot to start funding this. If it does come off it will need a large cash injection nearer the time but as the advert says every little helps.
Work was ok last night a party of 9 that had pre ordered turned into a party of 12. Managed to sort that and do some other covers as well. Also got an early finish which not good for the wages was appreciated. The friend who rolled her car had her first day back. She seemed a lot better than when I last saw her, just hope mentally she can get past it.
Need to brush the hounds, they’re at the groomers tomorrow. Hopefully OH will give me a hand. Not at work till 4.30 so nearly a full day to get up to some kind of mischief, though the weather isn’t playing ball.

Sorry about the friend who was trapped in the stream. Sounds a terrifying experience.

So pleased for you that the dodgy builder finally turned up.

    DGD sounds super cute.

Glad you were able to get your B12 injection and that your ankle is doing better. Great news on your pay rise. Well done for asking for it.

Did manage to give the fluffies a brush. They’re currently at the groomers and being made to look like fluffy clouds and smell divine (for about 5 minutes). Not much mischief was had I’m afraid to say. Lots of outside jobs to do but not the weather for it.
    Work was ok.
Not feeling great but can’t put my finger on it.

Sorry you are still under the weather L and hope you get some time to rest and relax to recuperate soon. <3

Well done on refluffing the floofs! I hope they behaved for you! My long haired cat dislikes his belly being done and I end up snipping off the mats

Dogs were at the groomers and do smell divine (for now)

Managed to walk 21.26 miles in October, which is the most I’ve done since April.
A very small win on the PBs which has been reinvested.
Weather seems a bit nicer today, which is a shame as I’m stuck in the office.

  • Oh well done on the PB win - small it might be, but it's more than we got this month!

Your poor friend too - what a terrifying experience, I'm glad that physically they aren't badly hurt, but my goodness that's going to be a tough mental scar to heal.

Hopefully whatever is making you feel not quite right will ease off soon - do you think it could be a combination of the low B12 levels before the jab plus the shock of your friend's crash? Or something a bit more? I hate that feeling you can't quite put your finger on though - very unsettling - so I hope it clears for you soon.

Sri Lanka is a lovely thing to have to look forward to, even if it is a way off, it will be a good focus to get saving, and let's be honest, we all like a savings challenge don't we!

You’ve reminded me I haven’t actually set the savings pot up. I’ll try and remember to do it tomorrow.
Work has been quite productive or I have and munched a few frogs and set reminders to remind (nag) others to get me the info I need.
Double shift tomorrow, I’m ready for the season to finish but that’s not till December , though I do think my Wednesdays will fade out soon.
