Another day another dog walk. Trying to get the miles in but not doing very well.
Need to budget for some new hiking boots as the tread has nearly worn out on mine and possibly some new everyday shoes. I’m not keen on the ones I wear everyday but they are really comfy and I can get my orthotic insole in (same for the hiking boots). I’ve used DB wider fit in the past so I’ll have a look at them.Got the pickup booked in to have the bodywork done., when we go back for Christmas. Before we moved up here, somebody keyed it and we think the bin wagon caught the front bumper. There aren’t any body shop people here so it’s great to finally get it sorted. We did mean to do it before we moved but never got chance. It does mean 4 days without a vehicle but hopefully DS2 will be onshore and he can chauffeur us around. He’s thinking about coming up but I don’t think there’ll be enough time to get the chimney out. It’ll be nice to see him.Going to do a gammon for tea tomorrow with all the trimmings, probably do it in the slow cooker, though there’s a pudding I want to make which will mean putting the oven on. I can’t get the pudding dish in the air fryer.Badders makes a come back this week, so need to make the effort to go. It’s on a Thursday instead of a Tuesday night.I’m also going to make an effort to go to stichin and b1tchin as I haven’t been for ages.LTotal Debt Dec 07 £59875.83 Overdrafts £2900,New Debt Figure ZERO !!!!!!:j 08/06/2013

They weren’t impressed today as they were attacked by the brush! They did go for a walk afterwards. Managed to get a load of washing virtually dry.Cooking a ham for tea and made a dessert. Did have to put the oven on for the dessert so roasted a butternut squash at the same time. Not sure what that’s going to evolve into but google is my friend.I made a really nice sweet potato soup yesterday for work. A new recipe which will get made at home, once I’ve got the sweet potatoes.Had a pottery kind of day. Was quite enjoying chopping kindling until I got the axe stuck. They can be cute when they’re not raiding the bins and chomping on an escaped sock (I’m looking at the youngest for the sock raiding and the oldest for the bin diving). I think the youngest one is hyper active as she just cannot sit still. Desperate for a pet but after 3 strokes needs to be on the move. She does make me laugh as she’s such a twit.Realised yesterday I’d lost my earring from my tragus piercing and I haven’t got another one. Meant to have a look and get one but forgot today. I did remember to open the Sri Lanka pot which drum roll please…. Has the total of £1 in it. Go me!
