It’s been such a spendy month and it’s only the 3rd. Spends as follows:
    5 gold rings (not really)
    4 new pick up tyres
    3 cars insured
    2 turtle doves and a
    Gary Golf MOTTTtttteeeee! He passed!
i do have some cash in the car pot but not enough. So for now it’s all going on the credit card. Will still have to pay for a service and getting the body work sprayed on the pickup when we head south.
OH collected the shopping which was a bit more expensive than anticipated due to substitutes. Hopefully that will see us until we leave.

Lucielle I'm sure you both made a huge difference to the car owner... I'm sure they will talk of your generosity for years

Just had a text to say I’ve had a win on the PB, love those sorts of texts!
I did treat myself to a new kindle in the Black Friday sale. My other one, whilst it works hasn’t been quite the same since it went for a swim on holiday, it is 12 years old so has lasted a while. Hoping the new one gets delivered this week. Waiting for 1 more present to be delivered and then can do the wrapping.
DD2 says she wants to cook Christmas dinner this year, which sounds good to me!  I’ll be helping aka interfering of course!
Need to clean the interior of the pickup and then we can start loading up.

Excellent news about the PB win - and that old Kindle lasted amazingly didn't it, especially after it's dunking as well. That seems a very good cost-per-use, to me, and certainly time for a well justified replacement!

New kindle had arrived and should be charged up and ready for me to do something technological wonderful with it and get it loaded with all my books (not complicated at all) if only.
Yesterday was fun and not planned at all. I had planned a freezer cooking session to take away with us, when neighbour phoned to see if I wanted to go out with her. Well it would’ve been rude not to.
Fist stop was the post office, I sat and waited. She was driving, jumped back in the car and it wouldn’t start. Luckily very near to b&b I work at. Called in and managed to get it jump started. Neighbour decided to drive to garage. Mechanic looked at it and then it started first time. Risked going into town. The car started every time so not sure why it misbehaved. Managed to call in at the vets so stocked up the dogs tablets for going away, also got asked if I could drop a neighbour’s order off as well, of course not a problem. Got some other errands done. Dropped neighbours drugs off. My friend got a bit disoriented driving down our bit of track and ended up going cross country over the lawn!  Needless to say Hawkeye OH spotted the tracks immediately when he got in.
Need to do the cooking today and the kindle. Will wait with bated breath to see if I’m at work tonight.

Glad you got out and about. Not the best on tracks across the lawn but social connections are worth it..
