AaaaaaaaGggggggghhhhhhh and breathe. I had some text messages from M&S saying fraudulent activity had been spotted on my card. They sent me a possible transaction which I said wasn’t me. However I was suspicious and thought they were a scam. Tried to use card in a shop and no way Jose. Just phoned them and the cheeky beggars have tried more transactions which aren’t mine. Anyway the crux of the matter is that card has been permanently blocked and a new card and pin have been posted to Skye. I’m not there!! I needed the card to pay for the bodywork repairs and service.Just aaarrtgghh
I’m glad it’s got picked up but…..just but!!

Managed to do an M&S booze shop. It was £95.00 but we paid 95p as we had vouchers to use. Still got some left for the fridge food next week. Been to the new home bargains that’s opened in the town and stocked up on cleaning stuff to take back with us.DS2 is going to pay for the bodywork repairs and I’ll pay him back when I’m home. Asked my neighbour to keep an eye on the post ( we have a box on the fence for it to go in). I don’t want it getting wet. Also did see the postie before we left and she did say she’d hold the mail till we got back. Just in case she’s not on one day.Went to a friends for tea last night. One of those nights when you don’t want to go out but had a good time and glad you went.Had a Chinese tonight, been fancying one since we came down so that itch has been scratched!
Dogs are behaving at DD2s with OH in charge. Her lodger is a vet and he commented how nice their teeth were!

Pickup has been picked up! Had a brainwave and managed to move some wonga around to pay for it. Just need to get it through the service tomorrow and that’s all finished.Going to the holiday cottage today, hoping we can get in a bit earlier. Still need to call at friends house to get some parcels that were delivered there and a couple of bags of dog food to take back with us.Had a pedicure yesterday and now got sparkly green toes. Also got some new nose pads on my glasses as they were beginning to hurt. I’ve had to go back to hard ones as there’s a shortage of the gel ones.Getting my hair done tomorrow. The chaps are off to watch the rugby and I’ll be getting the pickup when it’s ready and dog sitting.DD2 is getting the turkey on Monday and possibly the last bits we need.
