The kitchen crew got us an anniversary card which was lovely of them. Did go for a quick drink with them after work.
My ankles a bit ouchy this morning, I might wear my hiking boots to work for the extra support.  Had a good chat with both DDs as they were together.

  • Happy anniversary!

Sorry your trip wasn't up to scratch. Good you have a holiday option for next year.

Must be a relief that your eye sight is improving but a scary situation too - and difficult to plan for with the apparent variability.

So, I’m really not having a good day. Feel like I’ve been thrown under a bus after day job meeting. Then I’ve just had a message off the b&b owners, they’re putting the property on the market. However it could take 2 years to sell. I did have a feeling that this might happen. I know potentially 2 years to sort something else out. Sigh!

I’d helped a colleague out of a tight spot and I was getting the rap for not getting in sorted, while she sat by the dark overlords side, completely mute. It’s the third time I’ve bailed her out. It’s certainly the last!

Oh that's very bad of your colleague.  Definitely leave them to sort themselves out from now on.  I'm sure there will be lots of withering looks in their direction from your MSE chums.

That's a shame about the B&B but as you say it might take a while to sell.  Is it something you and/or any family members might want to buy and run?
