Glad you had a lovely time with DD.

Sounds like the cows and other rural life elements keep you on your toes.

    Hope your DH recovers quickly.

We were planning on going for a big walk today but the weather is truly dire so we’ve called it off. Not quite sure what plan B is going to be.
I went to the Opticians’s yesterday to see about a new prescription. She said the vision was better than when she’d first seen me. I have noticed a slight improvement. I’ve decided to leave it for a couple of weeks to see if it changes again. I’m a bit worried about spending lots of money on new glasses and having to do it again in a very short period of time

Had lunch out and it was very disappointing, have been there before and it’s usually ok. Stopped on the way back to find a waterfall that looks like it has swimming potential, it does.

I can imagine a pixie living underneath that toadstool!
    Hope the weather has improved.

Big walk did not happen so went to the island life museum. It was better than expected. Had lunch out (also better than the other day) and DD1 drove home.
Lit the stove and chilled for the rest of the day. DD1 leaves tomorrow (sob). I’m at work today for both jobs so her and OH are bring left to their own devices.
Payday today, OH got paid yesterday. Hoping it’s for both jobs.

B&b are advertising for extra shifts I’m debating about doing 1 of them. OH doesn’t think it’s a good idea. Can’t decide. It’s not cooking a different role (roll? Ha ha).
