Funeral went very well. Church was full and a good turnout at the grave. Not many people came to the wake but there was a lot of to-ing and fro-ing which would’ve put a lot of people off.
Isn’t really do very much in the afternoon.

DD1 has set off for home. I will miss her. DS2 has arrived. It’s good to see him and glad he’s not on his own.

DS2 has been a star and managed to get the cowl swapped over. Just need an easterly wind to see if it’s sorted the problem. DD1 made it home ok and even managed to score a try in her rugby match yesterday
DS 2 has just realised his car has no MOT so got that booked for Friday. Hope it passes as he needs to head south.
OH and DS 2 are away to take the hounds for a walk and to get the shopping. It may also involve coffee and cake.

It did indeed involve cake!  DS2 is off to chop some logs, we’ll split them as and when we need them, or if the log splitter decides it’s working!
OH is doing some on-line training, judging from what I can hear he’s doing food safety.
Badders tonight and DS2 is going to come, which will be good. Also have a badmiymeal on Saturday, which we’re going to.

    Loving your rota of visitors!

Quite right too that the walk involved cake - all the best ones do!

I'm glad that the funeral went off well too, although it was a shame there weren't many at the wake.

I have a dilemma, I was talking to my head office boss about my b&b job closing and I was losing hours. They’ve offered me another day. It pays more per hour than the b&b, holiday pay etc. However I really enjoy the b&b work and I meet people. Oh wise people of diary land what would you do?

Why don’t you take the extra day over the winter and then you can reevaluate.
