I think I achieved everything off the list. Dog’s shattered as I took them out with the ball thrower, sat on top of a hill and let loose. Not a peep out of them all afternoon.
Had a bash at crocheting a solid granny square. It’s definitely solid but not very square. Not quite sure where it went wrong but I’ll have another go.
New dog groomer messaged as I hadn’t been in touch. I replied to say that my hours have been cut and I can’t afford £200 every 5-6 weeks. It does mean I’m going to have to keep on top of their coats. They did get brushed yesterday. Going to look if there’s any good deranging products possibly ask a couple of horsey friends what they use. Maybe some sort of conditioner, open to ideas.

Oooh thanks. One of my horsey friends suggested veg oil but I imagine they’d spend hours licking it off and be grease furballs.

Think the funeral will be on Friday the 3rd but will have confirmation on Monday. DD1 is thinking about coming up, just depends on work.
Badders was good last night. 2 courts in action so none stop playing. Full day at normal job and then a shift at the b&b straight afterwards. Should keep me out of mischief.

Oh L, sorry to hear your sad news - not at all surprised you decided on a quiet evening, no shame in that.

I will second Bella Coco for straightforward no nonsense crochet advice.

Sounds like lots going on - I'd definitely be arguing the issue of the cowl - not on for them to have left you in a position where it is dangerous if the wind blows in a particular direction, it would have been different if you'd declined a cowl at al!

Busy shift yesterday as we only had a KP until 7   So I was KP, making starters and puddings. Time went quickly and it was nice as the others all helped me finish up at the end. Gary Golf is behaving, he does have an engine light on but we think it’s because he needed some steering fluid in, which has been topped up. OH is going to call in at a garage and get him put on a machine to see if they can take it off.
Been to the beach and even had a paddle. Stopped and had a coffee and cake.
