The stove is on the naughty shelf. It was an absolute sod to light and then when it did get going it was smoking. I’ve deduced (I think) it’s when the wind blows from the east. Messaged stove people.Still need to block the new Amazon payment, that’s a job for today.I made lemon drizzle cakes in the air fryer really pleased with how well they’ve turned out
Its potentially ray Golf day but OH has woken up feeling dreadful so not sure that’s going to happen

Cake is lovely. Contacted the stove installer and he gave me a number for another company. After a couple of emails I’ve purchased a ‘H’ shaped cowl. Went back to the original installer to ask if there would be any help towards it. In short the answer was no. It means we (OH) has to change it. Not easily as it’s about 8 foot out the roof. I’m still considering my reply as I’ve been fitted with a cowl that’s not fit for purpose.Gary Golf remains unfixed. OH spent most of the day in bed. He feels a bit brighter today so we’ll see how the day pans out.LTotal Debt Dec 07 £59875.83 Overdrafts £2900,New Debt Figure ZERO !!!!!!:j 08/06/2013

Ooh what a day. I was the gopher as OH did the mechanics. A* for holding the torch, driving you tube and supplying tea and cake. We managed not to fall out. Today we’ll be able to tell if Gary Golf is out of ICU and on the road to recovery.I’m going to attempt a yoga class today, slightly anxious about this, being a middle aged, unbendy, hefferlump. I’ve messaged the bendy leader and she said that exercises can be modified (just getting up off the floor without making old lady noises will be an achievement!) Whilst out and about I need to get some steering fluidLTotal Debt Dec 07 £59875.83 Overdrafts £2900,New Debt Figure ZERO !!!!!!:j 08/06/2013

Gosh. I've been considering yoga. But forgot you had to get off the floor. Best of luck
And well done on the surgery on Gary the golf. Hopefully he recovers quickly2 -
Quick update, Gary Golf got OH to work (go Gary!). I never want to replace a water pump, timing belts and pulleys ever again. That was so nerve racking. Not helped by the garage door dropping on roof of car, luckily we know it’s dodgy and had put a cushion on top (another job to source doors or shutters) and a jack that also slowly went down and needed pumping to stop the engine from dropping out. All fun and games.Just had a message to say I am needed tonight. Trying not to talk myself out of yoga but it does mean 2 separate trips to same village.LTotal Debt Dec 07 £59875.83 Overdrafts £2900,New Debt Figure ZERO !!!!!!:j 08/06/2013

did go to yoga. Honestly are peoples backs supposed to bend that way?? She went into a crab pose and arched her back. I thought she'd turned into something off the exorcist. I was expecting her head to start spinning and start walking down the stairs backwards! I think I will go back, I wouldn't say I enjoyed it but can see the benefits. I found it especially difficult to kneel down. My ankles just don't (yet) bend that way and any pressure on top of my foot really, really hurts.
Whilst out I got some power steering fluid for Gary Golf. I want to make a parsnip and apple soup and needed some apples. The joys of living in the middle of nowhere over 3 quid for 5 pink lady apples! Now I'm in a quandary as I don't know whether to use them or put them on the mantle piece and polish them!
Work was fine. Saturdays are always a funny one as it's change over day for a lot of properties.
Not much planned for today. Weather seems nice ( so far) probably brush the dogs, then take them for a walk. I'm going to challenge myself to try and make a different kind of granny square with the help of you tube. Probably make the above mentioned soup and a corned beef hash for tea. I might even do a bit of internet Christmas shopping. Get some ideas but hold out for Black Friday.
