My understanding is that it is almost impossible to close a selling account on Amz.  You should be able to downgrade the account to an individual selling plan so that you are not being charged fees.  Put the account on holiday setting and also make sure all have removed all inventory or set it to zero for each line.  You could as for advice in the Amz sellers forum though I've not looked at it since it changed recently and I think a lot of very experienced and helpful sellers stopped posting because of the changes Amz made.  Seller support are unfortunately well known for being totally useless, and unaware of their own policies.  See what help you can get from other sellers but your best bet might be to just make the account dormant.

Thankyou @teapot2.  All listings have been deleted and as you suggested I've turned it to holiday mode.  The journey down was hard going and getting off the island was interesting, sideways rain, wind and lots of standing water.  Managed to get past Forty William before the road was closed.  Arrived at DD1s about 12.30-1am and crawled into bed.  For the first time in ages my foot wasn't hurting.  I can only assume it was because I was wondering around in crocs and not slippers.  Need to think about that when I'm back.

Called into work, everyone seemed pleased to see me which was nice.  Managed to change some pounds to euros and upload some money onto my travel card.  OH has got an appointment to get his hearing aids checked out.  Went to Wilkos, very sad to see the store decimated.  Got some stuff that we would be using anyway to take back.  We also bought a VW Golf.  Its 20 years old with 58k on the clock and we're going to use this for running about on Skye to keep the running costs down on the pick-up and my car.  Just trying to get in touch with a friend to service it and do the brake pads before we go on holibobs.

Went to look at DD1s house and met the seller (a lovely chap) as its a private sale he gave DD1 a set of keys and told her to get cracking!  Its getting a survey on Tuesday.
Drove past DD2s potential house purchase just for a look see.  That also looks good.  Her building survey is in and she's gone back to the EA with a few questions.  Managed to get rid of a dead freezer at the tip, so one less job for the chaps to sort out.
Dropping the dogs off tomorrow night at DS1s and staying over.  He's cooking a roast which should be good.  Its DS2s birthday today and he's still working in Cork.  If things go according to plan he should be back just before we return, so hopefully get chance to see him.
Right, off to wallow in the bath, getting my hair done tomorrow.

    Enjoy your trip.

Glad your feet are feeling better. Sounds like they need more arch support.

I’ve got a problem with that particular trotter. Arthritis in my big toe, mortens neurons on my other toes and a cheeky ganglion cyst wrapped around a nerve on the side of my foot. I have to use orthopaedic insoles in my shoes which do help but not the prettiest of shoes to get them to fit in.

Hi Lucielle, have you also downgraded your payment plan to an individual one which doesn't incur the monthly fee?  If not, I suspect Amz will still charge you even if you are in holiday mode 🙄

I'm not sure as I'm not a business seller but I searched 'downgrading selling plan' on the Amz site and it comes up with a link that should give you that info and the steps to follow 🤞🏼

Back of back off holiday and a bit crispy round the edges. Had a lovely time. Didn’t really do very much, hired paddle boards for an hour one day and had fun with those.

Spent today at head office, had a really good meeting with our solar installers and in the process of organising the next 10 sites to be installed with another 10 hot on their tails.

Went out for tea with a work colleague and her 2 year old daughter who is adorable. Currently locked out the house sat on the patio, draped in towels that I’ve taken off the washing line to keep warm. OH has locked the patio doors which are normally open but I can see from the silhouette that he’s left the light on all day in the downstairs loo. He’s not back until tomorrow. DD1 has managed to get DD2s keys. DD1 is on a date so I’m loathe to ring her but it is quite chilly.  If I don’t report back hypothermia has got me (not that I’m dramatic or anything)

Hope you managed to get in. I would just ring DD1! Enough is enough. You can apologise profusely after you are toasty and warm.
