Many thanks again @EssexHebridean. The window cleaner came back yesterday and did them all again and did say there were some marks. I was at work do OH was having a chat with him. He knows we’re living here so that may make a difference on future cleans, time will tell. I now need to figure out how my new to me (thanks @beanielou) window cleaner gadget works so I can keep my side sparkly.DD2 and family friend went to view a house last night. It has potential, however there is another house on the same street for 10k less but not quite the same standard. DD2 and friend are viewing on Tuesday. It’s shown DD2 what could be done. Never a dull moment!
Work was very hot but a steady stream of customers. I’m in tonight and picked up an extra shift tomorrow. One of the other ladies mums is very poorly so she’s had to dash to the mainland. Another one of the team had 108!!! Ticks removed from her body by her hubby. She’s on seriously strong antibiotics which have made her quite poorly! Uuughh nasty critters.I’m slowly accruing a pile of clothes to pack for next week. It’s making my head hurt. I need clothes for Ibiza, head office, general playing out, wedding outfit and a fancy dress costume. Probably need a kitchen sink or 2 as well!
Had a reply from a dog groomer up here, it’s proving very difficult to get one. Bearing in mind there’ll be 3 to groom she’s quoted £200 every 6 weeks! Really can’t afford that in that timeframe. Need to have a think. They do get brushed but absolutely hate it when i do it and are better behaved for the groomer
Getting my nails done on Friday, a manicure and clear polish for £10 which I think is ok. Will need to get my trotters done when I’m down south.LTotal Debt Dec 07 £59875.83 Overdrafts £2900,New Debt Figure ZERO !!!!!!:j 08/06/2013

108 ticks is definitely making my skin crawl too. What was she doing to get that many?
Good luck with the packing - sounds complex.
£200 for dog grooming!!! I couldn't afford that either. We bought our own clippers and while it may not have looked stunning it was affordable.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

I don’t like them clipped so need to persevere with brushing.Had a busy day at work, did 41 covers on my own. It was only bread and soup but we were running out of soup and I was frantically defrosting it and trying to peel and chop ingredients for another batch. I did manage to cook a vat full of mince and veggies, grate a breeze block sized piece of cheese, boil eggs for breakfast, fruits and meats for breakfast prepped, oranges squeezed, salads sorted and veggies for evening service done. Phew no wonder I ache!
It was good to be busy and I did it on my own.LTotal Debt Dec 07 £59875.83 Overdrafts £2900,New Debt Figure ZERO !!!!!!:j 08/06/2013

wow well done you - what a great achievement, I hope they appreciate you!
Also glad that the window cleaner email got results - as you say now he knows you will be there to see how they're done it might focus his mind a bit!

Todays our wedding anniversary. I swapped my working day for Thursday as OH was off today. Took the hound for a walk first thing, then went to some touristy shops. One of them had PV panels on her shop roof so I was quizzing her about them and she’s recommended the company that installed them. She’s also had an air source heat pump installed and thinks it’s great. Not sure about that but definitely interested in the panels and there could potentially be a grant or 0% interest loan to put them on. I need to do some digging. Watched Oppenheimer this afternoon, it was ok but wouldn’t rush to watch it again. Had tea out and completely knackered now.Just realised I’ve a double shift tomorrow, a quick finish then off to the other job.DD2 has viewed the other house on the same street as the first one she looked at for 10 k less. She’s going to put an offer in tomorrow. Please keep everything crossed. DD1s is making progress and at the searches stage. I’m at the stage of where they want to know my bra size etc as we’re gifting a lump sum ( and will be for DD2)

How lovely to be able to gift them some money. Good luck to your DDs.
Well done on doing so many covers alone. Impressive.
Happy anniversary. Sounds like a good day. Future energy saving options sound interesting too. I don't know that I'd cope with the noise of a heat pump from the description most people give. They also say the max heat is about 20 I think from what I read which isn't enough on a bitter day.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030
