DS2 has managed to take the stuff to the tip, so that's a job less for when we get home.  Had a meeting with the housekeeper and told him our plans.  He was ok and stayed for a couple of hours.  Saw a few friends and let them know our plans, so the wheels are slowly turning.

Went to our favourite beach yesterday but I think the walk was a bit much for OH as his foot was sore, so a quiet day today.  We are planning to go out tonight as there is a battle of the bands on, which sounds fun.

My niece isn't doing very well and has been in ICU.  She's had a very bad reaction to the epidural and lost a lot of blood.  The baby had been moved to a heated cot but he's back in an incubator as he's got jaundice and a temperature.  My sister (her mum) should land back in the UK and she's beside herself with worry.  Keeping everything crossed.

Well the night out seeing the battle of the bands didn’t quite go to plan. I was mooching on FB and saw a post about it and realised it was a ticket event ( we didn’t have any). The annoying thing was I tried to phone the event in the morning and they didn’t answer. Yesterday was a right off we did nothing and I went for a long nap. Just been to the local town and had lunch out and done a bit of shopping

Oh goodness what a worry about your niece and the baby - I really hope they are both better soon. A shame about the tickets too - especially when the venue weren’t answering the phone.
