My parents are trying to cancel their Post Office Broadband at the moment. Their customer service is rubbish. It is an automated line, you are kept holding on for 15 minutes and then the line goes dead. My dad has been trying for a whole week on and off and cannot get through to them! Beware!
  • The Post Office provide a specific 0845 type of number for support which is free for customers to call.
  • I'm with them.........and I wish I hadn't even bothered to be honest. My go live time with them was delayed by a week. Had problems with browsing web pages and I had to phone customer service. 1st guy didn't have a clue what I was talking about. 2nd person I got through to was really helpful and told me that it was the router that would need replaced and would have 1 within 3 working days............still waiting 2 weeks later. Service itself isn't bad but customer service is absolutely horrible! Lost count now of the amount of times i've phoned to try and get answers only to be told different things each time and you can only complain in writing apparently ;) Lovely!

Although the Broadband and Phone service has been excellent the Administration and Customer support are dire.

My Bill for this month was a week late- after login onto Mypostoffice account admin ALL the bills for the last 3 months have disappeared !! There is no way to check the charges.

I'm been reading up on the web about Post Office tel and it does seem that the customer service side is not up to scratch.

Pity because when you read the Post Office leaflet it sounds good for the phone service.

I wouldn't go for their broadband because that part is 12 months min whereas the phone only is a monthly contract.

I like monthly contracts because even a good service can go downhill quickly and if it does you need to move to some other supplier.

It's only when you have a problem that you find out how good a company really is.

And if they resolve it quickly you are happy and stay with them and recommend their product to others.

Unfortunately many UK companies don't seem to realise this and after you sign up you are basically forgotten about.
