Thanks Rugbymad... Blackcats, MF, Mark, HSL
Had a chilled evening - helped by literally taking a chill pill (prescribed) earlier... Listening to uplifting music which is also helpful.
I ate leftover Chinese for tea... Skipped lunch. I have a few ready meals in for the kids but can rarely stomach them. May perhaps check out MnS tomorrow - as I do like certain ones of theirs - and as you say cheaper than takeaway.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Ohhh yes I love the M&S ones! We had one of their Indian ones today (the meal box with curries nans and rice). Love a nice listen to a bit of music, glad it helped, hope you get a good night's sleep and feel rested tomorrow.Current mortgage (1 Jun 2022): £289,501 - originally £351,999 got to love London sized mortgages!

Sending ((((hugs)))) SH and agree with the others that you need to be kind to yourself.
Whatever is causing you all the stress won't go away because you're getting in a state about it. But it WILL pass (hopefully very soon) Be proud of how far you have come and try and make some time for just you and DH. XXXI Believe.....
That it isn't always enough, to be forgiven by others.
Sometimes, you have to learn to forgive yourself.

Thanks Crystal and RugbyMad
Awake at stupid o'clock. Booked some tickets to an NT place for DH and I plus dog. That should be life affirming. Just hope the weather is kind. It's one of the places we went to regularly pre c19 so really missed it and looking forward to it.

Happy weekend. Hope you enjoy some time off work and manage to relax and take some time for yourself. You've reminded me, some of our castles are doing free entry. Need to see if I can book some tickets.5

Hope you get to enjoy this longer weekend, unwind a bit and enjoy a bit of creativity.
As others have said you do a lot to lift others on their diaries and also in real life.
Take care, G.If it's not adding up, compound it!4 -
I was finding that the more I thought about things (debt, work, life in general) and worried away about them, the worse I felt. The more I tried to calculate my debt payments and DFD, the more headaches I got. I'm trying to let go and live in the moment as each payday will come along when it is ready and I can't keep wishing the months away.
I think you are doing the right thing by chilling and listening to relaxing music. The takeaways are not ideal but this is just a phase to get you through a tougher time. You'll get your mojo back soon and you'll get on top of it all again.
