It's coming down each month and will be gone before summer, that's the main thing.
Hopefully things will be a little clearer in a few weeks for DD.

Sorry to hear you're so stressed at the moment, hugs.
Well done Mr SH on making the payment, your DFD is getting so close now.

Lucielle - I hear you - we should still hit June on current figures - but not my birthday in May which was my aspirational plan.
DH made me laugh yesterday and this morning. He bought me two beautiful bunches of multicoloured tulips and said he didn't want to be outdone by our son! Then this morning he says - that's for Mother's Day as well by the way - as knowing me I'll miss it...
I said you already missed it...
He said - Why is Mother's Day coming up on all my messages then?
That's the American one....
Bless. He tried...Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Waves at Busy_Mee - sorry I realise I'd missed your post. You seem to be edging towards retirement and full financial freedom. Sounds amazing.
Yesterday DH and I took doggy for a walk around a formal park. A lot of trees were in flower and there were tulips galore so that did me good. Had a better day today. Finished at a sensible time which helped - although I did work yesterday!! I worked on something different today - and a change really was as good as a rest. A colleague I'm close to came back from leave which also helped as I had a really good chat with her. Today I've watered the garden too - and I have some leeks I could probably pull up. I also have White Astilbe in flower, grape hyacinth, skimmia, daffodils, tulips, a purple azalea, fruit trees... All looking blooming marvellous. I am ignoring all weeds or areas that still need work LOL.
DD got a surprise request for an apprentice interview and assessment tomorrow morning - so she'll probably need my help setting her up on a computer etc. I may need to check the computer this evening as I'm not sure I remember the password for the one with the webcam as its an old one from work that I rarely use. I also need to buy her a new interview top - as the only one she has suitable for 'work' she wore on an earlier video interview. (They originally turned her down but gave her positive feedback).
I need to update my money.... and see what's been going on and try and rein in my spending... Just moved some move between accounts as barely stayed out of overdraft despite having money elsewhere as I'd taken my eye off the ball. Lots of bills all coming in at once - web hosting... which I had planned to cancel - they've already taken... etc I just don't have the energy to deal with that. Home insurance bill also due - gone up £20 compared to last year - but at £140 doesn't seem bad... so may just go with it.
Hope you're all getting out in the sunshine...Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

They're not weeds, just flowers in the wrong place 😉
You're sounding a bit perkier, which is good to see.
Does DD have a cardigan or necklace she could put on, saves buying a new top and her outfit would look different, if they even remembered what she wore last time. Fingers crossed it goes well for her.
That's not bad for home insurance, but worth a call to see if they will do it cheaper.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.4 -
Your garden sounds lovely. I hope things settle down for you soon.
