Thanks MF - You're right re the coins...
Feeling a lot better than I was but have covid booster today so goodness knows how I will feel after that. Taking it easy today. Going to have a shower and then get ready for what may be one of my first bingo sessions. Going with my neighbour.
NOT my bedroom below. But last night I took the plunge and updated my bedding to this scarily vibrant piece. Really happy I did - it's stunning. I got a new mattress protector, bedsheets and pillow cases too. I bought it last week but had been debating whether I should keep it or not. From Dun31m. My previous one was a washed out water colour type one so this is quite a contrast. I binned it and the mattress protector as I'd also got pen all over them from journalling in bed and forgetting the pen when I feel asleep!! Looking forward to my new mattress too which is due in a couple of weeks time.
Window cleaners are now here - so that was £10 I wasn't expecting to pay today. Ironically I got a fiver off Ex a few months ago as the window cleaners were due - but then didn't come - so he's still paid half LOL.
Just checked my email and the Decree Absolute went through yesterday!!Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

OH SH congratulations on your new found freedom. I hope the first day of the new you is going swimmingly!
That bed set is glorious! I'm gradually weaning MrEH over to slightly brighter stuff - we have a white set with brilliantly vibrant flowers all over it which I love, an older set which is a pattern is shades of dark red, blues and a sort of yellowy gold - nicer than it sounds! - and a more delicately patterned set with birds on it - at some stage though I want to start keeping my eyes out for another one to throw into the mix. Already so much better than the essentially boring cream sets we mostly had before!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Thanks EH - I've had white and cream in the past too!! Good luck with the duvet cover switch!!
This has humming birds on it. I love them. I now need to do a frog call - of getting life insurance reassigned to me as agreed. Wish me luck. I also need to follow up on my will today... But bingo in the middle of all that followed by covid booster...Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Well unsurprisingly I didn't win. She had free tickets - so cost me under £9 for a few side games, a drink and some chips. I went straight from there to get my jab. Felt very tired today - still recovering from DD making me ill!! Arm is sore - but again no surprise. I bought myself a few treats at MnS on the way home... Looking forward to going to bed soon.
DS rang yesterday - he's coming home for a flying visit this weekend due to a family birthday on Ex's side. I'll get to spend time with him on Sunday which should be good. I need to try and sort his room out before he comes as some stuff got dumped in there from the loft. The cat is being very affectionate.
The coins I found seem to be interesting rather than valuable. Some I'd heard of but not sure I've ever seen or touched before - or if I ever did not since I was a child. I knew in the old days that coins got 'shaved' but it is interesting to actually see and feel the difference. Some are so thin the writing has worn off. The odd couple look like counterfeits too - but again these are interesting in their own way! I don't know if I already said this - but I found 10p tokens for slot machines and they seem to be valued higher than the real money!! I think I have some other coins somewhere - shrapnel from foreign travel etc - so will see what I can dig out. Currently I've grouped it by country rather than year - and there are quite a few represented including ones that have since changed their names - and ones that used to be part of the commonwealth but now aren't. Unfortunately, I spread them out on my new study desk - so its unusable currently. They might be more valuable as 3tsy projects than in their raw state so I'll have a think how I can use them. Alternatively, they might be a nice coin collection start for my little nephews and niece...
I'm planning to move a couple of days forward from my xmas hols to next week so I can get more sorting done. I just haven't felt well enough to do what I'd planned. I will put a boxing bag on FB to see if it goes, some suitcases and 2 bike wheels complete with tyres that look like new - that will clear some lumps of space and hopefully motivate me to carry on. If it brings any cash TBH that's a bonus. I have an electronic piano keyboard that I have found the box for - I think the thing itself is under DS's bed - I want to try and sell that. A mistake purchase of £150 magnitude a few years ago... Have to forgive myself / us and move on.
Other stuff like grotty shed bookcases, oils, chemicals, small broken elec appliances just need go to the tip! But that will be the weekend or next week I expect.
Hope you are all having a good week! Mortgage completion tomorrow. Hopefully I will then be given login details so if I do have any £ to OP I can.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030
