Thanks - where we stayed was a wooded valley. It was absolutely stunning. Had a fab time. We even viewed a house on the way home but it was too small. DD did some tidying while we were gone - so came back to an improved house! DD also got a job!!! Pot washer with some minor cooking. £4.55 per hour but she said working for me made her realise how much she liked money and with our cleaner returning the 'pot' I'd used for would dry up. Very amused as she has always said she didn't know how to wash up!!! We also can rarely get her to cook so very funny. Hope it works out for her. She's there again today - so 2 x 5 hour shifts so far. Hopefully it will boost her confidence.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Your break sounded wonderful and scenic. Sneaking in a look at a property was a good call, gives you a benchmark.
Congratulations to DD! That's fantastic 🤗Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.4
