I'd never heard of the superstition regarding new year laundry, so that was interesting..My Grandad always used to say that we should go outside & 'turn our money over' at full moon, but I can't recall seeing him actually doing it.

I've had a quiet day today mainly because I still feel like I've got a cold brewing which is very annoying. I finished my book which inspired me to go out for a walk so I took B through the fields which she seemed to enjoy.
I had a little nap this afternoon and felt a bit shivery but it's gone again now so I don't know what's going on. We were supposed to have a roast dinner today but DD has a horrible cold so she didn't feel like it and neither did I so we ate some more bits of party food from the freezer. I bought a Yule log this year and it's not as nice as I thought it would be so I put a slice in the microwave for 15 seconds and it was yummy, just like hot chocolate fudge cake 😍😍
I still need to do my budget for this month but I've been waiting for DDs rent, she has paid me now so I will be doing that in the next couple of days . I have updated my signature to take into account this months SC payment which normally goes out on the 1st of the month and I am tantalisingly close to being under £12,000 😀
Today has also been a NSD which I am going to try to remember to record. I was thinking of doing no spend January as I don't have any major commitments this month but I'm not sure if it's a realistic goal for me. I still have things I would like to do such as meeting friends and I know you can allow for this in the rules but I'm an all or nothing person and no spend means no spend to me so I think I will stick with NSDs instead and just aim to do as many as possible in each month .
Tomorrow I am working a late so won't be doing anything else. I'm getting a bus to work but the timings are a bit off so I will be about 10 minutes late. I will phone and let them know in the morning then I am walking home because the buses are not running a full service and I don't want to waste my time waiting around.
I have my review appointment with the GP who prescribed me the steroids on Wednesday so I expect they will try to reduce them again seeing as my CRP levels are down to 1 from 35. I'm actually working on Wednesday so will have to make sure she has my work number as well as my mobile,I'm in clinics and the reception down there is rubbish so she won't get me on my mobile
I'm now supposed to be going to sleep but I'm not tired yet which is why I don't sleep in the day 😟Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,510 Owed = £11,1203 -

Work was nice again yesterday. We don't have any eating disorder patients in at the moment and it makes a big difference to the shift as they are very intense and need lots of support which is hard when there isn't enough staff
I walked home which was nice and refreshing but I was actually tired after a shower and chat with DD so I went to bed.
Today was a day off so I went food shopping. I didn't need much just a few bits and some dog food. I also took some of the Christmas decorations down, I've left the tree up and will do that on Thursday.
I cooked a roast dinner for tea and made enough for tomorrow so I won't have to cook when I get home from work and I also did two loads of washing.
Tomorrow I'm working 9-5 in clinics and will be walking home. I've also got my review appointment tomorrow if she can get hold of me at work.Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,510 Owed = £11,1202 -
