  • Glad to hear your sore throat has gone and you are feeling better. The power of echinacea. I can't take it any more as it affects my allergies, but I know its brilliant stuff.

Pleased you’re feeling better all round and that the echinacea did its job. I’m pleased they’re taking you being anemic seriously and checking you thoroughly 👍

  • Today didn't pan out how I was expecting. I didnt feel too good this morning so decided not to go into town. I do want to buy some new boots but it's not urgent although I would like to take advantage of the sales that are on.

My headache has come back and I just felt like I was coming down with something. I actually feel better this evening so fingers crossed it won't develope into anything 🤞🤞

I went to the surgery to pick up my testing kit and then just to my local shop for dog food. I also finished catching up on the washing,I won't do washing on New Year's Day so like to get it all done in advance 😀

Im working a late tomorrow so don't have to get up too early. There wont t be any buses home at 8pm though so if I can't get a lift I will be walking. I don't mind walking on New Year's Eve as there are usually lots of people around in town.

DD 2 is going to a friends overnight so I will be having the evening to myself. I don't normally do anything on New Years now. I used to go out but it's not the same anymore and I'm too tired to stay up normally 😀

Just in case I don't get back I would like to wish for Good Health, Wealth and Happiness for everyone that visits my diary and also would like to say thank you for all your support and encouragement over the last year. It's certainly been an interesting year and coming here has helped me more than you will ever know. Have a lovely New Year's Eve everyone 🎉🎉🎉🎉

I’m another one who can’t stay awake to see the new year in. I used to love going out years ago but as you say it’s not the same now. It should be nice walking through town at 8pm and seeing the revellers before it gets too messy.

I don’t wash on New Year’s Day either. Years ago I did and someone I worked with told me you wash someone out of your family if you do. Sadly I lost my mum a few months later despite her being fit and healthy at the start. I know it’s just a superstition but not taking the chance again- plus both Mr SA and DD remind me about it every year.
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)
  • I didn’t know the thing about washing. I was going to do my bedding but will leave it till the day after.

    Happy New Year x
