Hope you didn't catch flu at work. Can't believe people go out mix with people when they are ill. But they do say if you have proper flu you wouldn't actually be able to go out. A dr once told me if its flu, you wouldn't even want to bend down & pick a £50 note off the floor. Going self managed is the best thing we ever did. I'm sure you'll find it works for you as well.Making the debt go down and savings go up

All sounding very positive for the new year OBL. 👍
I really don’t understand why a nurse around vulnerable patients would go into work when not feeling well and the rest of the families have flu. Hope you don’t succumb.January spends - £587.580 -
The staff member who was feeling ill would be at the very beginning of the infection so might not have felt too bad yesterday. I had proper flu when I was 13 and I thought I was going to die. I was ill for three weeks and it took another couple of weeks to recover completely ,to this day I can't have lockets as they remind me of when I was illMakingabobor2 said:Hope you didn't catch flu at work. Staff go in unless they have tested positive for Covid or literally can't stand up because they are too scared to take time off and they don't want to leave the ward short. They will be kept away from any vulnerable patients as well ,this nurse looked after the ones who already have flu 😊milann said:All sounding very positive for the new year OBL. 👍

Sadly I now have a slight sore throat and a headache but I've got to go to work tomorrow because I've had too much time off already and I will be leaving the clinic short if I don't go in 🤷♀️I'm hoping it's just a cold as it's too soon to have caught it from my colleague yesterday and to be showing symptoms, unless I've caught it from my son in law. I was hoping to get my flu jab tomorrow but I'll have to see how I am. I can get my Covid booster from next week as well if I'm not ill.Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8942 -
Had a mixed day today . I started off chilling and finished my book, while I was doing that a got two loads of washing done. I have also cleaned and tidied the house and been out and cleaned out the🐓.
Im now sitting here with a Baileys hot chocolate 😍I have a slight sore throat and a headache coming on so I hope it's not flu and it's just a cold 🤞🤞

Hope it just turns out to be a minor cold, OBL, & nothing worse. It made me smile when I read that you'd told your manager that you feel 'amazing' - what a difference that treatment plan has made.

Hopefully 🤞🤞I have been chugging back the echinacea today so hopefully that will help. My manager was shocked when she saw me😀 even today with a headache and sore throat I still feel a lot better than I was a few weeks ago 😊 it's so good to be able to do jobs without having to go and lie down for the rest of the day and I please I've managed to do a bit of tidying in my garden toofoxgloves said:Hope it just turns out to be a minor cold, OBL, & nothing worse. I hope it's just a cold.
The sudden change in your general health is a good witness to how poorly you were pre-treatment. It's amazing how much you managed to do when you were still undiagnosed. Early night and plenty of fluids perhaps, to help you stave off whatever's lurking?I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

That's when I knew something more than Fibromyalgia was going on, I can normally plough through but this was stopping me from doing so much. My sore throat has gone today 🎉🎉Cherryfudge said:I hope it's just a cold.

Lovely day at work today. I was in clinics with two of my friends so we had a bit of a laugh while we were there, it always makes the day better. I also got my bloods done this morning and my gp phoned me on the way home to talk about them. They want me to do a poo sample to send off to check for blood because I'm still anaemic and they can't find a reason for it. I have been anaemic for the last decade but they haven't really done anything about it apart from suggesting i take some iron tablets. They now want to check to see if I am bleeding anywhere 😳 the good news is my inflammation markers are down from 35 to 1 which is normal 🎉🎉🎉
I walked home today because I was full of energy and didn't want to be cooped up on the bus with lots of people. It was quite a nice walk home 😊
This evening I chilled out and watched an antiques roadshow special about toys that was very interesting.
Ive got to go into town tomorrow for dog food so I might also have a look for some boots in the sales
