  • So sorry your little dog is so poorly.  I hope she does make a miraculous recovery but I am sure you will do whatever is best for her.  Awful that it came on so suddenly.

  • Thank you for your well wishes everyone. B is thankfully still with us today, she managed to get up today and although her balance is really bad she can walk better than she could yesterday.

The vet we saw today says it's definitely vestibular disease and that she will hopefully continue to recover over the next week or two. They have given her more anti sickness and he said that her appetite should come back in a few days once she stops feeling sick. She has managed to drink some water as well but hasn't been to the loo yet. The vet said there is no mechanical reason why she can't go just that she hasn't eaten or drunk properly since Friday night so wont need to go.

I gave her a slice of bread and butter with honey on it last night and she did eat that. We just need to keep her comfortable and take her out to see if she will wee.

im on holiday now so can look after her and see how it goes over the next week
