Another day where we did do what we were supposed to do 😀we set off for the garden centre but when we looked at the bus app the bus we were going to catch had been cancelled meaning a 40 minute wait in the cold for the next one,so we decided to do the things we needed to do in town instead. We got everything done that we needed to do but I still need to buy something for my mum and dad. The plan now is to go to the garden centre on Monday when the buses will be more reliable.
Im working tomorrow 2.30 - 8 pm so won't be dong much else. I'm aiming to get a load of washing done in the morning though and probably have a quick clean around.
I am then on AL until the 27th of December 🎉🎉🎉 Im having both days off over Christmas for the second time in 30 years but I am working the late on New Year's Eve so the younger team members can go out and party 😊
Oh I almost forgot,I walked to town and back home again today 😀🎉😀🎉Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,510 Owed = £11,1202 -

Also I have just realised I hadn't updated my signature so had missed off two DMP payments. I've updated it now and I'm nearly down to £11,000 🎉🎉 you might also notice I have 0 in my Christmas savings but I just didn't update it, I actually had £300 saved for presents, it was more than this over the year but I use this fund for birthdays as wellOriginal Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,510 Owed = £11,1202

Just popping into say that my little dog B was taken poorly last night, she got up from the settee at about midnight and her back legs wouldn't work, she was then sick about four times and pooped herself 😟 I called an emergency vet and we decided to keep an eye on her overnight because they thought she might just have hurt her back and it had gone into a spasm of some sort. I slept on the settee all night with her in her bed next to me but she didn't move all night apart from to be sick.
This morning she couldn't move her front legs either so I called work and asked if I could take unpaid leave which they agreed to. I managed to get her an appointment with the emergency vet and luckily DD1 was staying in a hotel in the city last night so I got hold of her and she drove me to the vets.
The vet said it could be vestibular disorder or a stroke and gave her a steroid inject plus an anti emetic. He told us that if it's vestibular disorder that that would help her feel better and she should improve slightly by tomorrow, if not it's more likely a stroke. He advised bringing her home and keeping her comfortable while we monitor her until tomorrow. If she shows signs of improvement then she might recover but if she stays the same then it's bad news. He said they can do a scan on her brain to find out what's caused it but because of her age he thinks she might not get better. I have to try to get her to eat and drink but she won't have anything. She can't stand up at all and has slept for most of the day . I asked him if he thought it would be the end of the road tomorrow if she doesn't improve tonight and he said yes so tomorrow I might have to decide to have her PTS. I'm hoping she somehow has a miraculous recovery overnight but I don't think that's going to happen.
DD1 is coming back tomorrow morning to take us back to the vet. We are devastated that we might lose her tomorrow and I can't believe that at tea time yesterday she was perfectly normal with no sign of illness and now this 😢😢😢Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,510 Owed = £11,1200 -

Oh, that's such a hard place to be in.
My heart goes out to you. Your instincts and experience are telling you it may be her time to go, and while I hope this isn't the case, I know she has the best care and she will have your support whatever happens.
I'll be thinking of you and hoping for the best.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)
