  • Poor cat with an abscess on his bum, thankfully nothing serious or too expensive. Anything to do with electrics is expensive but that option certainly sounds better than a full re-wire. Best to ask for an opinion though.

Good news about DD’s flat. I bet you’ll miss her though.

Boo to the sore throat I hope it clears up sharpish.

B looks so snug and contented 😍
I did feel sorry for him, it explains why he has been walking round like John Wayne for the last few days 😀 I was relieved it wasn't anything more serious. Definitely getting s
a second opinion on the electrics.
I will miss DD terribly but she needs to be out in her own place and we will still meet up and do things together 😊

  • There seems to be a lot of dodgy throat things going around. Hope yours improves soon. Take an LFT test though as I read that covid cases are up 31% this week....not good.
I test anyway because of working for the NHS,it's definitely not Covid so that's a good thing,I can't be getting it for a third time. My DD is currently working on a Covid Ward and it's full so cases are going back up rapidly

  • OBL I do hope you find some resolution to your wiring .
I hope you get some answers to your pain it all sounds so debilitating. I don’t know how you cope with it .
Hope the vet trip has gone ok as well .
I'm getting a second opinion on the wiring 😊the pain can be quite debilitating but I can usually work around it, this is slightly different from the norm so it's messed up my coping strategies but hopefully it will be resolved at some point. I told me friend today that I will just have to stop sitting down because that seems to make it worse 😊

Our council offer heating and renovation assisstance to private home owners on a low income. If you didn't know it was there you'd never find it on their web page but it's to do with keeping housing stock available. It might be worth a trawl through your local council website?
Thanks for the info Cranky, I will investigate my local council 😊

Hope your DD stays safe at work. It is still very worrying isn't it? Despite what the Govt like to tell us. We still wear masks indoor situations as OH is on vunerable list.

Oh dear I spoke too soon as DD 2 tested positive for Covid last night. This is her second go with it and I'm really hoping I'm not going to get a third go at it. My cold symptoms have actually gone away today so I'm hoping I've got away with it,I will have to do a test tomorrow before I go anywhere just in case. DD has tested three times in the last week  and they have been negative so her viral load obviously wasn't high enough to be detected in the first two tests which is worrying as she went to work 🙀 she is also upset because she now can't go and view the flat on Monday 😟 she's got 14 days to view it and pay the £500 reservation fee before they offer it to the next person on the list. She has re arranged the viewing for Saturday so hopefully she will be negative by then 🤞🤞Im actually quite worried because her chest sounds awful, the cough is horrendous 😟

This is probably a silly idea OBL - but does DD have anyone who could do a ‘virtual viewing’ for her whilst she was on a video call on her mobile at all?
