Ive been lurking and reading and also worrying on you these last couple days OBL - and I really enjoy reading your diary and all the nice people you have commenting on here. sounds like all these positive vibes have had some effect 😊. Glad feline friend is sorted out with meds, hope electrician is a compromise in the right direction for you and DD accommodation search goes the way you want it to. And also that the echinacea sorts the sore throat - I use zinc at the 1st sign of a scratchy throat swear by it. Take care x x

Poor cat with an abscess on his bum, thankfully nothing serious or too expensive. Anything to do with electrics is expensive but that option certainly sounds better than a full re-wire. Best to ask for an opinion though.

Good news about DD’s flat. I bet you’ll miss her though.

Boo to the sore throat I hope it clears up sharpish.

B looks so snug and contented 😍
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)
  • Thankfully it can be sorted within your budget. If that is reasonable then that’s something at least.

Sorry you’re not feeling so good though with a sore throat. Hopefully that’ll just go.

Sorry you cannot seem to catch a break at the moment and you manage to avoid the bad cold.  Fingers crossed the wiring job can be done a lot cheaper than £3k.  Worth getting a second opinion even on the cheaper price.

Thanks,I'm definitely getting a second opinion on the electrics. I don't know why but I just get the feeling I'm being taken for a mug , I'm used to having to chase tradesmen to do jobs whereas this one won't leave me alone,he is either desperate for money or a genuinely kind person who wants to sort my problem out, sadly I have learned not to trust people much over the years so I'm not rushing into the work being done

Thanks ,I forgot about zinc 🙄I do take a daily immune support vitamin but it hasn't saved me this time. I might get away with a mild cold though hopefully
