Gorgeous photos! And chips too - perfect!

Does it help to schedule inΒ  half a day or a day of down time on days off if you are under the weather? I know that would be very frustrating as you always have a project on the go, but sometimes duvet days are helpful. Of course you are the best judge of what is needed though as only you know how you feel.

(Afterthought: if duvet days don't work, perhaps dolls' house days would suit you? :) )

Are you sure your wheezing isn't hayfever.Β  A friend & I have found that for the last month or so every time we put our head out of doors we start feeling chesty.
I don't know, I have multiple allergies so it could be anything. I take meds for allergies all year round though. This wheezy chest isn't there all the time, it's come on over the last few weeks but looking back it's the same time I had it last year but I had also had covid at this time last year. My chest seems to not be the same after I had pleurisy several years agoΒ

Why not Milann 😊 I'm trying to make the effort to go down there at least once a week through the winter if it's not raining. I don't visit in the summer because it's too busy but I love it in the winter

Thanks Cherry, the chips were yummy
I like the idea of doll house days and funnily enough was looking at things to do with it last night 😊
Im not very good at relaxing unless everything is done which sort of defeats the object really πŸ˜€ I try to relax on my days off but then get bored πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ

    Hi thanksΒ
I am feeling slightly better today 😊 Ii do love the sound of the sea whether it's calm or stormy.
Theres loads of viruses going around at the moment along with flaming Covid, my hospital is on a Opel 4 black alert at the moment due to high demand, it's so busy it's crazy
I haven't done anything crafty for quite a while so far this year, I seem to have lost my mojo, I've got two things to finish before I can start anything else but I'm on holiday next week so will hopefully have the energy to do it thenΒ
I do love a dolls house, she will love it 😊x

  • Someone has mentioned walnut whips in diary land and now I really really want one or three 😍😍

I have had a chilled day today. I did go and meet my friend in the end and we had a good old chin wag. I walked there along the river in the sunshine which was sooooo nice.Β
I did defrost the freezer when I got home though because DD wants to do an online shop and it needed doing,I won't have to do my usual pre Christmas defrost now πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰

Im working tomorrow 9-5 and have to go to the walnut whip shop ( Sainsbury's or M&S ) on the way home for some foody bits to take with me on Monday. Monday is my team away day and we are doing Segway Olympics ( whatever that is πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ) then after we are going to the local village hall to do the work part of the day. Our team leader is currently at home ill with Covid so she is joining us via teams hopefully . We are all taking food to have for lunch and I won't have time to go shopping apart from tomorrow after work

DD went to the Swedish shop tonight on her way home and bought me one packet of the lovely little cakes I like, safe to say at 159 calories each I won't be having them again any time soon.....they are tiny .....πŸ™€

The diet has been a bit up and down this week because there were chips on Tuesday and today I had mac and cheese in Costa, I didn't have lunch on Tuesday though and only had toast and jam for tea today so hopefully the damage won't be too bad. I missed my SW meeting on Monday because I felt too ill to go after work but the week before I was down to 10st 2. I weighed myself this morning on my scales and I'm now 9st 11.5 lbs. My scales make me 2lb lighter than SWs so I've still lost weight and the chips haven't caught up with me yet πŸ€žπŸ˜€
