That's so funny (sorry! )
I was in a flap the other week due to losing my bank card which turned up in my sewing kit. At the same time I lost a rather large set of keys which for some reason were in front of the dolls' house. Someone asked if I'd been trying to get into it!
One of my son's primary school teachers remembered me as the woman who found my son's missing glasses in the bread bin.
My 'best' loss of phone was at work. I'd perched on a kitchen chair with the phone in my back pocket and when I got up it stuck itself to the faux leather back of the chair until my friend noticed it.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

That’s so funny 😂
I don’t keep mine in my back jeans pocket any more as it fell down the toilet when I pulled them up….not once, but twice! Never let it be said that I don’t learn a lesson eventually 🙄 Luckily both times it was insured, but it took some explaining 😅Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

Sorry OBL but I snorted with laughter reading about you finding your phone 😂
Hubby has an iPhone without a case, and the bloody thing is constantly falling off things. It's ridiculous how slippy it is. He still refuses to get a case for it though.Debt free Feb 2021 🎉2 -
I also found it very funny,I was still laughing when I went to bed 😂😂I try really hard to not put my phone in my back pocket because I have nearly lost it down the loo 😀 I have no idea how it ended up in my undies ,my mind is boggled 😂
Work today was sad, challenging and very busy. The day didn't get off to a good start when my taxi didn't turn up ( surprise surprise ) I phoned them and it had been booked for 7pm instead of 7am,I distinctly told him it was for 7 in the morning 😡,luckily there was a car nearby so I was only a few minutes late. I didn't stop all day but it went by in a flash, I am now going to bed because I am shattered
I've got two days off now and tomorrow I am not going anywhere. I'm hoping to catch up on my washing and some more painting
I do have to phone SC tomorrow as well to do my yearly review which is late,I got a quite threatening email from them that I'm not happy about so whoever answers the phone tomorrow is going to get a complaint first of all. They claim they have contacted me on several occasion but apart from this email they have only contacted me once before, I then went online to do the review but couldn't get it to work so I gave up. I will see what they have to say tomorrow and if I don't like it I will just go self managed. I'm actually thinking of doing that anyway after the email I've just received 😡Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,080.1 Owed = £11,549.95 -
Sorry to hear you've had a hard day and a nasty email. Do you feel confident to self-manage? I can see from your signature that you've been repaying for a few years so the system must be well established.
Enjoy your days off.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)
