Donโ€™t forget your emergency wee ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ
Always have an emergency wee ๐Ÿ˜‚, I was gutted today because I was going to listen to the podcast and I forgot my earphones . I will play it tomorrow while I'm painting x

Lol at the pre-weigh emergency wee! Yep, that is defo one of my strategies too. If you are ever tempted to think that this won't make a difference, I suggest you take a pint glass of water & pour it into the dish of your kitchen scales. I first did this, actually, not because of weighing myself, but because when I started making sourdough bread a few years ago, the recipe required the water content to be weighed, rather than measured in ml. I couldn't believe such a little bit of water could weigh in at 250g.....i.e over half a lb! That simply underlined for me the critical nature of the pre-weighday wee! (Or 2 or 3 if at all possible!) Try it! Pint of water on that scales. You will be implementing the pre-weigh wee with immediate effect!

I once weighed my clothes before going to a meeting and was shocked to see they weighed 3lbs ๐Ÿ˜€

I couldn't miss her she practically sat in my lap as she squeezed past, I still haven't got the paint off her, it looks like another patch of grey hairs ๐Ÿ˜€

Had a lovely day out with my friend today, we had lunch and a good catch up. I saw lots of lovely clothes I would have like to buy but I don't really need anything at the moment so I didn't buy anything ,it was nice to have a wander round though . I got home at threeish and have just lounged around doing nothing much ๐Ÿ˜€
I had a terrible nights sleep last night and have been tired all day but now it's late and I'm wide awake ๐Ÿ˜กI am going to go to bed in a minute though and hopefully will sleep tonight.
    ย
Im off into town in the morning then home to do some more painting, it is supposed to be raining all day tomorrow so I won't mind being indoors, I wish I had cut my grass on Monday or Tuesday though because I left it and now it's too wet, it's not too long so will be ok but I want to keep on top of it.

I also need to check my bank account tomorrow because I have been very lax this month,I don't even know how much I have been paid yet and I was paid on the 27th, I can feel myself slipping on the money front so need to get some organising and plans in place to remind me that I am still in debt and still need to budget. I do need to update my signature as well because my SC payment will have come out by now ๐Ÿ˜Š

It will be well worth you sitting down to have a look at your budget, OBL, not least because knowledge is power, but also because you will feel better psychologically once you feel properly back in control.

We were supposed to be going out for the day today but didn't go because it was chucking it down all day ๐Ÿ˜Ÿ

I decided to have a look at my finances instead and I'm happy with where things are, I have managed to save ยฃ100 back into the Christmas / present fund, this had gone down from ยฃ400 to ยฃ300 because of both DGS having birthdays in July,I have replaced that money now so the fund is back up to ยฃ400. I just have my mums birthday between now and Christmas so I'm pleased with the amount that's in this post at this point.ย

The other things I flagged up is that I have spent ยฃ70 on paint and various bits for the house but I haven't taken the money out of the house fund so I need to move that over to my account. DD 2 owed me some money for her shopping as she had forgotten her card so I paid for it ,she has now paid me that back. I still forgot to look at how much I was paid ๐Ÿ™„I can check on the system at work but can't log in from home so I just normally look at my bank statement to see how much it is.ย

I also did lots of painting today,so I've now done a first coat on the walls of the hall and a first coat on the coving. One of the walls has a crack in it so I had to fill that and wait for it to dry but it's all done ready for a second coat tomorrowย

I didn't do any painting yesterday due to not feeling great, I didn't get up until 12.30 but could have actually stayed in bed all day. I had to go into town though so made myself get up and goย

Tomorrow I am painting again so will get the walls finished in the hall,I also need to put a second coat on the stairs on the landing,I couldn't do that today because DDs duvet was hanging over them to dry. I've still got tomorrow,Monday and Tuesday off so could get a lot done over these three days if I feel ok. I'm really liking the pale colour that I've used in the hall and I'm now wishing I had used it in the living room but there's no way I'm panting that again,I like the colour I have used so it can stayย

Diet wise I've had an ok week with one day where I went over my syns, I am stuck for lunch ideas that don't involve bread though so need to come up with some alternatives, according to my scales I haven't lost anything this week so I'm not sure what's going on there ๐Ÿ˜Ÿ

It sounds like good progress both on the Christmas savings and on the painting. I hope you can get some R&R time too!

If you can eat dairy, then yogurt is a good basis for a lunch, maybe with fruit in. I add oats to mine but then I'm not losing weight at the moment. You may find your weight loss is just waiting till you're next on the scales, mine often seems to lag behind my behaviour.

I mainly eat soup at lunchtime, have done for years. I make a batch of it on Sunday afternoon to last throughout the week. Itโ€™s usually enough on its own but if Iโ€™m extra hungry I have a seeded flatbread with it. Itโ€™s a very cheap lunch and a great way to use up leftover veg.
