Another busy day at work yesterday and as predicted I spent some of my day sitting with patients supervising meals, inbetween that I got all my jobs done and the day went by really fast. The online shop arrived when I got home so I basically put all that away had a shower and went to bed.
Today I've taken B out and then I went to my local shopping centre to take two things to be sent back. DDs had to go to the post office and I was lucky to miss the queue that's usually halfway up the street 🎉🎉🎉then mine had to go to a shop across the road,I also had to nip into the coop because I forgot to order myself some yogurts and cheese in the online shop 🙄 then it was onto the pet shop where I was very happy to find a bag of mixed corn and a bag of layers pellets for the 🐓🐓last time I went in there they didn't have any. They don't get much demand for it so only stock a couple of bags of each at any time, I was going to order online if they didn't have any but that costs more so I've saved a bit of money by buying local.
Im just sitting down with a coffee before I get stuck in to today's jobs which was going to be painting a wall but I forgot the coving will need doing first so I'm going to do that and then fill a coupe of holes in the other wall, I might get a coat of paint on the wall today but we will see. I've woken up feeling a bit queasy and my stomach is making some very odd noises,I've tried to placate it with a could of biscuits but I'm not sure that's worked 😀

Would the pet shop order the chicken stuff for you if you let them know in good time before you run out? Hope you manage to get some painting done.

I hope your queasiness has passed OBL.
Going back to the books, I downloaded 'Audrey Wilde' via one of Amazon Kindle's 99p offers some time ago and it's banked up ready for me to read. I'll be interested to hear what you think of it.
Your mum sounds like what my mum used to be with her own heavy bag!  I always wonder what the Queen has in hers as well as she always seems to carry a reasonably big handbag!

It has now thanks,I,got Audrey Wilde as a 99p kindle offer too 😊 I'm enjoying it so far but I've only just started it so not sure yet.I bet the Queen doesn't  carry as much junk round in hers as my Mum 😀 there's envelopes and all sorts in there, we always joke that no matter what you need it will be in Mums handbag she has scissors ,tape measure, possibly a small screwdriver, an address  book, phone, purse , old bills, her bank book, at least a couple of photos and always a couple of spare carrier bags. She will use a material bag for life but always puts things in a plastic carrier bag before she puts them in the bag for life😀 she's got cards in there with motivational quotes on them that people have given her. I told her she doesn't need to actually carry all this stuff round with her but she just does her own thing. Her bunch of keys are as also massive, I have two keys on mine for the back and front door and that's it. I can't be doing with carrying things around that I don't need that day 😀

I’ve got a friend in her 70s whose handbag is like your mum’s. She carries her whole life around with her. I’m like you and just take what I need for the day.

Well done on getting all that painting done. Enjoy your trip to the garden centre tomorrow.

Just chipping in to say that I am nowhere near my 70s & my handbag also contains everything but the kitchen sink. My friend once peered into my bag & said "You're short of nothing you've brought with you". But I am often the person who can provide a handy screwdriver, loo roll or choice of 3 sizes of safety pin!

Enjoy your time out with your friend on Friday, I am off to a garden centre as well that sells lots of things and having lunch. It is lovely to be able to get out.
Great to hear you have started the painting and good progress made .
Lemon puffs were my favourite biscuits also.
