Busy day today but not doing the painting like I had planned to 😀I got up early and took B out and it was so lovely and sunny I decided to grab the chance to cut the grass on my front garden,it was very long and was looking really scruffy.
I normally keep my front garden looking nice and the grass is kept short but circumstances have meant I missed several opportunities to cut it and then the monsoon season arrived so it was too wet 🙄 I have a cordless strimmer so so I went over it with that first then the mower, it looks nice and tidy again now 😊 and the weather is forecast to be really rainy with gale force winds for the rest of the week so I got it done in time. I have time to start some decorating once I've finished my lunch so will get the filling done. I won't be able to paint today because my hands are hurting and shaking after cutting the grass, there would be paint all over the place 😀
Im working 9-5 tomorrow but I'm off on Friday so will get some painting done then,I'm hoping to see my mum on Saturday so no decorating will be done then. I've got to text her because I'm not sure if she will want to go this weekend seeng as it's the first weekend everyone can meet up inside and she did say she was worried about walking round town now because since she had her pacemaker fitted she hasn't been able to walk as far as she would have before. I did suggest that we went to the mobility centre in town to hire a wheel chair but she didn't like that idea. I'm also going to suggest I just go up to the house instead. I taught I could take some fancy cakes with me 😊Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8944 -
Hi OBL, Is the pain in your hands due to the fibro, or do you have arthritis in your hands like me? Mine go for quite a while feeling ok, but then the cumulative effect of overdoing it kicks in & they feel stiff & sore. They are like that at the moment. I have been doing lots of gardening, as well as all the bedspread knitting & moving furniture & stuff around which means they are complaining about overuse. I also play the piano every day too, which is also quite intensive use, I suppose. I just wondered if you have it also.

What a productive day I've had😊 Walked B twice, cut the grass, three loads of washing ( I now have an empty linen basket for five minutes ) 😀 done my bit of ironing, hoovered the house and cleaned out the 🐓🐓 cooked some tea . I didn't get any decorating done because of the garden but it's due to rain on Friday which is my next day off so I'm planning on doing some then. I've caught up with all my housework and I will have tomorrow for my hands to recover while I'm at work
Today I bought a 99p book for my Kindle called The Vanishing Of Audrey Wilde ...I've been eying it up for ages and today it was reduced 🎉🎉🎉I've also added a book called Hyde to my wish list on Amazon,it sounds really good. Now for the weird thing,we were all talking about treading Wakenhyrst the other day so I went to see if it was on kindle unlimited and it came up that I bought this book in 2019 and on checking my kindle it is indeed on there and marked as read 🤷♀️I have absolutely no memory of buying and reading this book, I know my memory is bad but I'm sure I would remember reading it,when I read the blurb on the back it doesn't sound familiar at all. I'm going to have to read it again to see if it jogs my memory.
I also got hold of my mum this afternoon and she wants to meet in town so we are doing that, I think she just wants to get out of the house for a bit and have some time away from my dad. I'm going to suggest we just go for coffee if she is struggling rather than wandering round town for a couple of hours,we normally do both but I don't want her to over do it. I'm looking forward to it and Im hoping the worst of the bad weather will have passed through by then 🤞🤞Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8943 -

I enjoyed 'Audrey Wilde', @Onebrokelady. How strange you had already bought 'Wakenhyrst' - exactly the kind of thing I would do! It is quite a compelling story bound up with ancient lore, etc, so I think you might have forgotten to read it? You'll soon find out!

I know the electronic gadgets sometimes make mistakes......we’ve had it with the tv....said we’ve watched a series but we hadn’t.....we watched it to make sure and neither of us remember it......we can’t both be wrong.
Enjoy the time with your mum.Happy painting....it’ll look lovely when you’ve finished.January spends - £587.582 -
I sometimes get books from the library with no inkling that I have already read them. Normally by chapter two I am, this seems familiar.....😂Debt free Feb 2021 🎉2
