With floor laying the fitters will often work around large sofas and move them around as they do it. Everything else needs to be moved out. It's one of the reasons we didn't get our front room done for years! We moved everything bar the sofa, armchair and dinning table.Debt free Feb 2021 🎉2

After seeing it mentioned on here I read Wakenhyrst and enjoyed it. It was free to download to the kindle cloud as part of the free Prime trial that they offer at me every now and then (I never keep it).4

How lovely for you having coffee with your mum.
I expect the heavy bag is largely because she doesn't have a smart phone - that's where we carry everything nowadays!
Glad the hands are better too. Go easy with the painting though, in case you set them back. (It's a good excuse).I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)
The sun's been out and I think I’m solar powered (Onebrokelady)

Yes it's a gaming one, her ex boyfriend built it for her ,she has two monitors as well because she streams the games she plays on YouTube and also needs a screen to talk to people at the same time, she also has a snazzy microphone because she needs good sound quality when she is commenting on the game. It's a big interest of hers ever since she was old enough to hold a controller 😀Sun_Addict said:After a dull and showery day it’s sunny here too ☀️Is your DD’s computer a gaming one? My DD is a gamer and her set up is so expensive 🙀Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8942 -
I can move everything else out apart from the sofas, we will just be a bit squashed in for a bit, my dining table comes apart and I was thinking if it's a hot sunny day I could always put it on the patio and cover it over in case of rain 😀Drawingaline said:With floor laying the fitters will often work around large sofas and move them around as they do it. I'm still trying to remember if I've read it before 😀CRANKY40 said:After seeing it mentioned on here I read Wakenhyrst and enjoyed it. It was lovely to see my mum and have a good catch up,she's got all sorts of stuff in there that she could leave out, her purse on it's own weighs a tonne, it's full of cards she doesn't actually use 🙄Cherryfudge said:How lovely for you having coffee with your mum.

Busy day at work yesterday, I spent my day either supervising meals being eaten or running around like a loony,I did have time for a young girl to teach me how to play UNO though which was fun and I won two games 🎉🎉😀 I slept like a log last night but woke up at 6 in quite a bit of pain,I took some painkillers and went back to sleep until 10. I did feel better when I got up
Ive also been busy today washing all the skirting boards in the living room ready to be painted. I need to wash the doors but my hands were hurting so I had to stop, I'm going to fill some holes on Wednesday and then start painting the walls. I'm not sure how many I will get done though because I have to go out to send some stuff back that DD ordered plus the shoes I decided not to keep and I need chicken feed. I'm aiming for two walls but will see, the window in my living room is huge so I could do that as the second wall and it went take long at all
I also took B out through the fields and we got a bit soggy wile we were out but got back just in time to avoid a massively heavy downpour so that was lucky. I polished and hoovered the living room as well and got three loads of washing done. I've sorted the 🐓🐓 and changed my bedding. I am now pooped 😀 my hands are hurting quite a lot but that's normal so I'm going to take some painkillers and try to ignore them ,they aren't shaking though so that's good.
Tomorrow I'm on a late so don't have to get up until 9ish. I'm on the ward tomorrow so will be doing the same as yesterday I expectOriginal Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8945 -
That was a busy day, OBL. Decorating is always such a faff, but worth it when it's done & everything looks bright & fresh.

It will definitely be worth it when it's done and Im hoping once I get started I will have more enthusiasm for it,I used to love decorating but now it's just a chore I need to get done.foxgloves said:That was a busy day, OBL.
