With floor laying the fitters will often work around large sofas and move them around as they do it. Everything else needs to be moved out. It's one of the reasons we didn't get our front room done for years! We moved everything bar the sofa, armchair and dinning table.

After seeing it mentioned on here I read Wakenhyrst and enjoyed it. It was free to download to the kindle cloud as part of the free Prime trial that they offer at me every now and then (I never keep it).

How lovely for you having coffee with your mum. :) I expect the heavy bag is largely because she doesn't have a smart phone - that's where we carry everything nowadays!
Glad the hands are better too. Go easy with the painting though, in case you set them back. (It's a good excuse).

After a dull and showery day it’s sunny here too ☀️Is your DD’s computer a gaming one? My DD is a gamer and her set up is so expensive 🙀
Yes it's a gaming one, her ex boyfriend built it for her ,she has two monitors as well because she streams the games she plays on YouTube and also needs a screen to talk to people at the same time, she also has a snazzy microphone because she needs good sound quality when she is commenting on the game. It's a big interest of hers ever since she was old enough to hold a controller 😀

I can move everything else out apart from the sofas, we will just be a bit squashed in for a bit, my dining table comes apart and I was thinking if it's a hot sunny day I could always put it on the patio and cover it over in case of rain 😀

It was lovely to see my mum and have a good catch up,she's got all sorts of stuff in there that she could leave out, her purse on it's own weighs a tonne, it's full of cards she doesn't actually use 🙄

That was a busy day, OBL. Decorating is always such a faff, but worth it when it's done & everything looks bright & fresh.

It will definitely be worth it when it's done and Im hoping once I get started I will have more enthusiasm for it,I used to love decorating but now it's just a chore I need to get done.
