My Mac and cheese with fake bacon was sooo tasty, DD is really excited now because we can make carbonara again 😀
My new work shoes arrived and they are lovely and comfortable so I will definitely be keeping them,I wore them round the house this afternoon and they feel like slippers, they also have a well covered toe in a suede material, my last ones were more mesh and got a hole in them, these have mesh panels but a covered toe and are exactly what I have been looking for for months
It's been a dark wet day all day and I'm beginning to wonder if summer will ever arrive. My poor 🐓🐓are so fed up with getting wet, I went up earlier and their run was just a squelchy mess so I gave it an unscheduled clean out, it has a roof but it leaks a bit so gets wet, mind you the ran has mostly been sideways anyway so the roof is a waste of time, at least their house is lovely and dry 😊
Im back at work tomorrow doing a nice 9-5 so will be home in the evening nice and early, I've then got Saturday off and a long day on Sunday. I think I'm working day on day off for the next two weeks so will be tired but after that I'm on holiday and I can't wait 😀Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8943 -

I’ve only given up on one book, I can’t remember it’s name but it was about a man turning into a wolf and back to a man. It was absolutely dire ☹️ Another one I struggled with was We need to talk about Kevin, found it too harrowing and wordy but worth sticking with for the shocking end.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3

I couldn’t put We Need to Talk About Kevin down. I didn’t know anything about the book .....harrowing and compelling all at the same time. I gave up on one How to Stop Time.....a man had some syndrome and lived hundreds of years and kept jumping between time zones.....in fact I haven’t really got into any books since and that was months ago. I usually make myself stick with a book till the end, just doesn’t seem right not to finish - but I just couldn’t stomach this one.

I mix between genres and particularly enjoy CL Taylor, Harlan Coben and Claire Mackintosh for thrillers. On the other hand I also love Carole Matthews, Fern Britton and Santa Montefiore for lighter reading. I follow Carole on FB and she is lovely, so down to earth, always responds if you comment. One of my favourite reads from last year was Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine which was a lovely book.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4

I remember giving up on 'Moby !!!!!!' when I was a teenager!🐳
I'm getting really lazy with my choice of books as I age. At one time I would read most things that were given critical acclaim. Some I liked and some I didn't, but I felt at least they pushed me out of my comfort zone. These days I find I stick with historical, mysteries and psychological thrillers. And I still re-read all my old favourites. I've got quite a few new novels stacked up on kindle that I haven't read yet - plus I get a free kindle download every so often from my Times subscription - Richard Osman's is one I'm looking forward to as it's a murder mystery! Oh and I still love non-fiction history. Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟

His books can be a little odd though,I also love his non fiction, the first one I read was How To Stay Alive which was about his battle within depression and anxiety,my favourite non fiction of his is Notes On A Nervous Planet which is about how the world we are living is making us sick,it's really interestingOriginal Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8942 -
