My journey to a debt free life

I was hopeless on night shift and felt really ill after them but we worked on our own and that makes a difference I suspect. It was also very unusual for residents to need anything during the night. There was another staff member sleeping in but basically you were alone for about 8hours.

I'm more of a lunch time person😀I could easily stay in bed until 12 if I didn't have to get up for work, I do love being in bed though it's one of my favourite places to be 😀Sun_Addict said:The BBC Sounds app has some brilliant playlists, lots of podcasts and even some audio books. I’m definitely a morning person, up with the lark but dead on my feet by 9pm.
I haven't tried BBC sounds,I will have to have a lookOriginal Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8942 -

Slept like the dead last night and didn't wake up until 10 am. I was going to go into town but I don't feel like it so that can wait until Thursday now. I've got vege mince out the freezer to make a bolognese for tea and I only needed washing up liquid and washing machine cleaner but both can wait until Thursday so today will be a NSD.
I've lost track of them this month so I'm just going to track the rest of this month and then start again in June. I was being very focused on having NSDs but have slipped during May, I have been in a spendy mood which needs to be nipped in the bud,I've bought three magazines this month which is naughty and a waste of money so that needs to stop. I've also bought a couple of books but I am allowed them so long as I don't get carried away.
I'm also still trying to find some shoes for work but begrudge paying lots of money for work shoes so I bought some cheap trainers from Schuh last week,I wore them on my night shift and they were so uncomfortable, I only lasted two hours and had to change them, I'm sending them back for a refund because technically I haven't worn them outside 🙀I wiped them over with a damp cloth and some washing up liquid and they look the same as when they arrived 😀 I've now ordered some more sketchers which is what I normally wear so hopefully they will be comfortable enough, they were double the price but will be worth it if my feet don't hurt
So far today I have only walked B, we were lucky because it was sunny but as we were going round the sky was getting darker and darker then it chucked it down just after we got back, B was happy because she hates getting wet 😀 I've got to go and sort the 🐓🐓 in a bit but I'm just having a coffee, I also supposed to be doing my ironing but will see 😂

No good having uncomfortable shoes- pleased you got the sketchers.
I’m quite enjoying not having to get up for work. Dh gets up brings me a drink and I usually get up after he goes out. I had a couple of 9 am appointments last week and it was a bit of a shock to the system 😂😂January spends - £587.582 -
The trouble was there was so little to do it was totally boring and if I read for too long it sends me to sleep.Onebrokelady said:That sounds like heaven to me 😀

Despite me getting up early, it’s going to kill me when I’m back at work physically and have to get up at 4.45am to be there for 7. Thankfully I’ll be working from home 3 days a week going forward.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2

I love it when I wake up on a day off and realise I don't have to go anywhere if I don't want to 😂😂😂at the 9am appointments,I always try to make them for later in the day if possible, it's also easier to get to most things on the bus if I go a a bit latermilann said:No good having uncomfortable shoes- pleased you got the sketchers.

Once I start reading I can read all night. I finished a whole book a few months ago when I couldn't sleep one night 😊ladyholly said:

I'm lucky on my long day I start at 7.30 so can get up at 5.15 then on my short days I don't have to get up until 6.15, I could delay it until 5.45 and 6.45 because it only takes me 45 minutes to get ready but I have to walk B before I goSun_Addict said:Despite me getting up early, it’s going to kill me when I’m back at work physically and have to get up at 4.45am to be there for 7.
