Well done on the weightloss and healthy changes.
I watched Dr Chattergee on tv a couple of times and he makes sense. It’s the small changes that make a difference and become habit. I tried the tea you mentioned at while ago when GP had wanted to put me on Blood Pressure meds. I couldn’t take to it but do drink Decaff tea and coffee with very little alcohol- if I do drink alcohol I find I get horrendous night sweats. So unless it’s a special occasion I tend not to bother. I’m aiming for the same weightloss - at least a stone - a stone and a half would be better. Something has clicked with me too this week and I’ve lost 2lb so far 👍👍 I think it actually was realising how heavy 1 stone was.....’only ONE stone’ doesn’t sound bad to me because it has a number 1 in it.....I got a wake up call after I lifted the stone weight - the weight is definitely affecting my health again....I was much better when I lost it last time - why don’t I learn 🤔🤔
There’s nothing better than a comfortable bed.....pleased you have found one courtesy of your dd that is giving you a good night’s sleep. It must be a load off your mind too because you know there is nothing sinister going on helping you sleep sounder.

How wonderful to have a good night's sleep! Hopefully you will both benefit now.

The river walk sounds lovely. We used to do a similar river walk when we were at university around the river Dee. I did really like it.
Hoping the new diet will help with the weight loss and then the swallowing. Can't imagine it is a nice feeling at all.

Small changes are good because they become habits after a while without you noticing. I know several people who go mad in January at the gym and on diets full of enthusiasm in the beginning, then they drop off mid-February and you never see them again, happens every year. It has to be realistic and something you can build into your lifestyle for good.
That's what I'm hoping will happen, this will all become a habit without me really noticing. I walk to the train station to catch a bus to work on workdays and that has become a habit now, it's only about 15 minutes but it all adds up. I'm hoping to start walking back into town from work to get my bus home as well if I my leg improves, the walk into town is 25 minutes so that's 40 minutes of walking three days a week just going to work and back, the walk I take B on on my days off is 40 minutes so I'm walking 40 minutes a day normally  😊

Thanks Milann, after I swapped to drinking Rooibos tea I found I couldn't drink black tea,it tastes really bitter to me now 😊 I also listen to Dr Chattergees podcast every Wednesday, it's really good

It was lovely, I haven't slept really well for years due to pain waking me up so any sleep I get is precious

What a miserable day it's been here today, just rain rain and more rain. I took B out this morning and it was just drizzly but also warm enough not to need a coat so I just took a brolly, I was so hot when I got back 🙀
I haven't done much at all today apart from to nip to my local shopping centre for some bits we needed and for some meds to treat cystitis for DD along with a tub of ice cream to cheer her up. My pets are trying my patience today as well, one of our cats throws up a lot and always in a place that's not easy to clean, the other night he threw up on the bathmat which I had just put back down last night after washing it and he only went and did it again this morning, then B decided to do a wee on the carpet in the hall. I always have a puppy pad down by the door because as she has got older she does have the occasional moment where she can't make it outside, it also works really well to stop wet muddy paw prints being tracked into the house if she goes in the back garden, I had taken it up to put a new one down but she decided to wee before I had chance 🙄. I seem to have spent a lot of time on my hands and knees today cleaning up bodily fluids 🤢🤢

Well, that's a relief! I'm glad you don't have to replace the fridge freezer and router!
