I can't imagine it will be nice but it will at least be done and your mind put at ease that it isn't something serious but that they are still investigating and hopefully get to the root of the issue and find a way for you to sort it. x

At least you know it’s being taken seriously when they start from worst case scenario downwards rather than the other way round. Let’s hope they find out what’s causing it.

I read your comment about the paint wrong and thought you said the paint was called scuffed in places 🤣 It’ll never catch on 😆

Dogs are fantastic company and they get you out of the house. I don’t know what I’d do without mine, she keeps me going.
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)
  • I'm glad they're taking your symptoms seriously and doing proper investigations. Probably it will be nothing to worry about but you want to be certain.

It's really hard finding paint colours, which may be why we haven't painted anything for about 18 years in our house 😳 .

Five days off is going to be amazing, enjoy 🙂.

🤣🤣 I cant see that catching on any time soon,it sounds like a Farrow and Ball paint colour, they are all called odd names. My mum and dad had their living room painted in Elephants Breath which would actually suit my room but it's too expensive for me to use 😀

I think that might be partly why I haven't bothered for years, I remember it took me a long time to decide on the colour it is is now but as soon as I painted it I loved it. I'm going to try out my last sample pot tomorrow and if that's no good I'm sticking with what I've got, I'm sitting here now and my living room looks nice in this colour so it won't be a bad idea
I am determined to enjoy my days off 😀

First day off today and I had to go and get my pre appointment covid test done which was booked in at a testing centre two bus rides away and I also didn't have a clue where it actually was, I knew it was near our branch of Ikea somewhere. Anyway DD1 came to the rescue and drove me out there,I have still got a really bad sore throat and when he swabbed my throat it really hurt, it seems to have made the sore throat worse since I had the test. I have also been sneezing all day and now have a headache,I haven't had a cold since before I caught covid back in October and I have to get one this week when I'm due to be at the hospital on Monday. I really hope it's gone by then, I've had it for a few days and it doesn't seem to be getting better.

DD came back to my house and we sat in the garden, we did break the rules though because you have to walk through my house to get to the garden in the first place. She also brought DGS 1 with her which was lovely as I haven't seen him since Christmas Day. He taught me all about the Solar System while he was here,he's nearly 4 but he knows all the planets and what order they go in 😀

Tonight I watched a new Netflix show called Shadow And Bone, it's based on some fantasy books that are really popular and I really enjoyed the two episodes I watched. I want to read the books now though 😀

I am going to dose myself up with tablets and gargle with some TCP before I got to bed and hopefully that will help my poor throat

Hopefully it will help your sore throat. My dad use to swear by gargling TCP. x

Your are allowed to go through the house to get to the garden or bathroom but should wear a mask and keep your distance from others.

My mother used to make me gargle with TCP. I hated it and still cant stand the smell.

Another one who watched the first few episodes of Shadow and Bone...I’ve never read the books either and am tempted to find them now. I hope they are well written as it looks like it will be good.
TCP has reminded me of Victor Meldrew in that one foot in the grave episode, where he smelt so strongly of it the car park attendant brought him a car with TCP on the reg number by accident 🤣
