I hope the investigations get to the problem with swallowing etc. Such a pain to have these unexplained health issues. A lot of people the same age as me seem to have gastric issues for which the medical response seems to be omneprazole prescriptions which come with other side effects I think.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free Wannabe, Budgeting and Banking and Savings and Investment boards. milann said:My dd had a pale grey which I loved in her house so I decided to go for a very light grey/ hint of purple colour in my bedroom......can’t remember what it was called but it had midnight in the title. I’ve hated it since I painted it 4 years ago.....I find it so depressing....I have never believed people when they’ve said mood is affected by colour. Now I know it is true 😳
I’m pleased you’re having more investigations- it’ll put your mind to rest. I know what you mean about wanting some sort of diagnosis- nothing serious but something to know it’s real. I once went for scans and there wasn’t anything showing...they thought I had a hernia through scar tissue....anyway nothing showed and I explained it’s worse when I stand up...so the lovely sonographer did the same tests whilst I was standing......sure enough it showed a hernia. I didn’t want them to find anything on one hand but was pleased they had on the other......hope they find something easily treated for you.
Im hoping whatever is wrong is easily treatable or maybe as simple as the something like being down to weight gain, if they don't find anything at least I will be reassured that nothings going on and can just concentrate on losing the stone I've put on over this lockdown 😊Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8941 -
Drawingaline said:Trying to find a paint colour you like is so frustrating. It's why I got the colour from my old house colour matched from an old tester pot (it had been discontinued) because I loved it and knew it would work in the new house.
However I agree with the wall colour Vs the pot colour. This is called wedding and looked like an off white in the pot, on the wall it is a bluey/grey/lavender type colour!!!Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8941 -

Busy day at work yesterday but the time flew by so that was good. I slept quite well last night as well so feel quite energetic today.
Today has not been a no spend day because I had to go into town and buy yet another dog bed. I bough B a new one a couple of weeks ago and one of the cats stole it 😀he uses it all the time and she won't share so I had to go and get her one of her own, it's like a big rectangle fluffy cushion and will replace the cushion that's in her bed now, I washed the old cushion and it went all lumpy so not very comfy for old bones, anyway this one has a zip off washable cover so will be easier to keep clean and nice smelling. I also succumbed to another tester pot of paint 🙄 it's the colour that DD liked the look of but I think it's going to be too pale in reality, I'm going to try it out on some paper later
I have spent the afternoon cleaning the house because it had been neglected over the last two days due to work, I've done downstairs and washed the throws I use for the pets plus the other cats bed so they all have fresh beds now . The 🐓🐓are out in the garden enjoying the sun but I've got to clean them out yet, I've had all the windows open to get some fresh air in and washed the cat litter trays. I just need to hoover upstairs now and I'm done 😊
I have been looking at houses for sale and it's encouraging me to get started on my house projects. There are some lovely houses out there but equally some really dodgy ones that are for sale for around the value of my house but in much much worse condition so I'm hopeful that if I ever do sell I will get what the house is worth, in the meantime I am going to treat it as if I'm thinking of selling and do it up accordingly in the hope it will spur me on to get started.Today I had to catch up with cleaning but Im off on Thursday and don't need to go anywhere so I'm starting on Thursday 😊Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8943 -
It will certainly help keep you focussed if you get in the mindset of selling......can’t do any harm anyway. Plus if you do decide to sell it’ll make life a lot easier. Would you stay in the same area or fancy a change.Hope the dog appreciates her comfy bed 😀January spends - £587.582

Buying paint is certainly challenging. When we painted the lounge the paint on the coving loooks completely different in different parts of the room. We are used to it now but was very confusing to start with.

I eventually found a pale grey that wasn't grey like the recent trend for grey which is very harsh and drab and commercial to my mind - its warm and soft and veers towards other neutrals rather than towards blue/grey. Hard to explain but it seems to match an awful lot of palettes that all the pale beige type shades would whereas the colder greys just clash. I guess I'd say its a creamy grey if that makes any sense at all, very restful
Its Laura Ashley Pale Dove Grey - its now showing as available via Next but not sure if Laura Ashley going bump means any change to the formulation.
There is also a darker dover grey and a white/dove grey for lighter/darker versions of the same idea.

Just had a phone consultation with a very nice consultant from the hospital about my current issues, he definitely agrees that they need to look down into my stomach but also said if they don't find anything they are going to refer me on to the ENT dept because their scope is better for looking at the actual throat rather than the oesophagus, it goes up your nose instead of via the mouth
Im booked in for a covid test on Saturday but it's right out on the outskirts of the city so I will have to catch the bus which sort of defeats the object because I'm meant to socially isolate after but will have to catch the bus home again 🤷♀️Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8944
