We saw the bomb on the news and commented on how awful if must have been in the war when nowhere was evacuated and they were going off relentlessly 😲 Doesn’t bare thinking about if it’d decided to go off by itself 😲😳
You sound as if things are going well for you.
I’d been on codeine 15 years ago for quite a long time.....which is when my bowel perforated for the first time. I’m pretty sure the 2 could have been connected. I’d been on naproxen and omaprazole long term when it perforated this time. The surgeon has taken me off naproxen now so I don’t need the omaprazole. When I contacted the GP about pain relief everything she suggested messes with my stomach so she’s prescribed morphine patches. I haven’t actually taken them yet and am reluctant to do so as morphine makes me violently sick if I take it orally and gives me horrible hallucinations. I’m managing with paracetamol and pacing myself. I’ll use the patches if it becomes unbearable as she has also prescribed anti sickness just in case. I read all the literature of any tablets I take now. For a long time the GP hadn’t done medicine reviews but I’d had one at the chemist who seemed horrified. Since then I have had a prescription review and blood pressure and blood tests near my birthday. I’m wondering if the chemist gave the GPS a kick up the behind 🤔🤔
I was on Naproxen years ago and was given Omeprazole at the same time, I stopped taking Naproxen after a few weeks because it didn't really help but because I already had reflux my Gp told me to keep taking the Omeprazole .I expect the chemist had a word with your GP 🙀

I was so tired this morning I didn't wake up until 11am 🙀 I kept waking up last night so that's not helping.Today I went into town and bought a birthday card and a cake for DDs birthday on Friday so I don't need to think about that later in the week, I also bought a Mother's Day card so just need to find a present now. I also resisted buying a magazine, I've been buying a Prima magazine each month and then passing it onto my mum but the last one wasn't very good so I decided not to waste my money

Do the prima magazines still do dressmaking patterns. I had a flick through one in Morrison’s and liked a knitted cardigan but the queue moved along faster than I could see if there was info about patterns.....how inconsiderate 😂😂😂😂

You have to order the dress patterns online now, the magazine contains craft and knitting patterns though 😊

I think magazine content has gone downhill in the past year. Well done on being under £14k 🥳👏💃

Yay to being under £14K, OBL. It's so motivating reaching these landmarks. Do you colour in little squares on a chart or anything as a visual motivator, to see it going down?

They have haven't they, i stopped buying any regular ones when I started paying off my debt but my mum carried on buying me a couple every month which I then pass on to her, lately a couple have crept back in but the last ones I bought were just repeating the same old information. I'm not going to bother anymore now,I might put £4.00 into a jar every time I resist buying one then use it for riding 😀

Thanks Foxgloves, I am really happy to see it go down a level. I don't do a chart because I would just forget to do it 😂🙄
