Well done on getting your debt unter £14K 🎉. That was really sweet of your mum to give you money 🙂.
I think you sound like you've got long Covid too as it seems to match the symptoms that people have. My niece has long Covid. I think walking from work to town is a good idea and will help your mood and your general health. I need to take my own advice and get more exercise 😂 .
Good luck with the x-ray tomorrow. Ooh great news about your second Covid jab too 🎉 .Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

He likes to be in control of everything and can be quite nasty but my mum is willing to put up with it so we have to as well 😟enthusiasticsaver said:Shame your Dad sounds like a real tightwad. Use the money your mum gave you for horse riding or a nice treat when you can. She is probably like me in that it gives her pleasure to make things a bit more comfortable for her daughter.
Maybe build up the exercise gradually again? I agree that often the more you do the easier it gets.
Good you now had both jabs. Interesting about AstraZeneca jab side effects. We had our first vaccination this Tuesday and that was AstraZeneca. Only side effect so far after 48 hours is a stiff arm for me, tiredness yesterday for us both but DH was feeling very cold and shivery Tuesday evening. I was fine apart from the tiredness and a bit lethargic yesterday. Both back to normal now though and we said it is better than getting Covid.
It been mainly people on here who I've seen that have been ill after the AZ jab, my Mum and Dad were ok after theirs, most people I know have had the Pfizer vaccine because they are healthcare workersOriginal Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8942 -
It is a relief to be fully vaccinated even if it only lessens the symptoms it's worth it 😊Sun_Addict said:I was poorly after the AZ vaccine but it only lasted a day thankfully. Mr SA was fine. I get my second jab in May and I’ve booked the following day off work just in case I feel rough again. Must be such a relief for you to be fully vaccinated after your ordeal with Covid.Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8942 -

Well today didn't pan out like I had hoped. I had to drag myself out of bed this morning as I was still tired. I had breakfast and took B out through the fields but I really struggled to walk round 😟I came home and had a coffee and faffed around on here for a bit before having lunch then sorting the chickens and hanging up some washing then I went back to bed until 6.30 . I was in a lot of pain today and so tired I just decided to sleep so nothing got done yet again . I hope I don't feel like this tomorrow because I have work and it's DDs birthday so I need some energy. I will be going back to bed shortly though so hopefully that will help. I just feel like going to sleep until summer 😟

Interesting about the AZ vaccine - of the five in our family who have had our first dose, the only one with a notable bad reaction was DD, and she's the only one to have the AZ. However she's normally super-fit so I put it down to her immune system kicking in extra hard.
I didn't realise the Pfizer vaccine is being given to all health care workers... I wonder why?

I think the Pfizer vaccine is the one which needs to be kept at a very low temperature so given mainly in a health setting. They ordered less doses of that compared to AZ which was approved later than the Pfizer one too and the AZ one does not need to be kept frozen. As I understand it the Pfizer was given to top priority groups which included health workers and the people vaccinated through the primary care providers. My brother and 85 year old mum and stepdad had that and they were vaccinated really early on. The mass vaccination centres have mainly AZ supplies. You have to have the same vaccine for both doses to be fully effective. Our GPS have run out of Pfizer here so have had to stop vaccinating until new supplies come in.Cherryfudge said:Interesting about the AZ vaccine - of the five in our family who have had our first dose, the only one with a notable bad reaction was DD, and she's the only one to have the AZ. It might only be my trust but my understanding was that the Pfizer vaccinehas been given to mainly healthcare workers because of its particular storage requirements, it's really unstable and it's normally only hospitals that would have the facilities to keep it so hospitals have been using it for their staff and some healthcare workers have traveled to the hospitals for their jab. When the AZ vaccine was given the go ahead they prioritised that one to go to surgerys and other vaccine centres where they didnt need specialist storage for it, it can be kept in a normal fridge and they can also take it to people who can't get out should they need toCherryfudge said:Interesting about the AZ vaccine - of the five in our family who have had our first dose, the only one with a notable bad reaction was DD, and she's the only one to have the AZ.
