Sounds like love could have been in the air given half a chance with the foxy Labrador.
     🐶❤️🐶 puppy love 🐶❤️🐶
Do you want to come and sort my cupboards for me. I’ve come to a standstill and don’t know where to begin.
I’d forgotten all about Mother’s Day on Sunday.

It was love at first site 😀 leave the cupboards and take it easy for the afternoon 😊I was nearly caught out for Mother's Day because for some reason I thought it was on the following weekend so I need to get my skates on. I will have to post my mums present and card because I won't see her before Sunday.

    Chickens sorted
Washing hung up second load in machine
    Hoovering done
    Bathroom cleaned
    Late lunch eaten
Ive developed a liking for Quorn smoked ham and mustard sandwiches so had that for lunch with a soya dessert
Ive had a word with myself and gone back to using the inhaler my GP gave me, I'm going to keep using it until I have my appointment next week, I've also gone back on my iron tablets in case I'm anaemic again, my inner bottom of the eye looks pale so that's usually a sign that my iron levels are low
I'm just trying to motivate myself to go and make my mac and cheese now and I still need to do my bed

Sounds like you’ve done a lot. I’ve dusted around with zolflora too since you inspired me. I’ve mopped the kitchen floor and hoovered the living room. I’m expecting the man to look at my bubbly vinyl tomorrow so I’m ready if he turns up early.
Using the inhaler and taking the iron sounds very sensible to me. 👍

Woke up naturally at 9am today and actually felt rested for a change. I took three doses of iron yesterday and I'm sure they can't be working already but I had a lot more energy today 😊
I took B for our usual walk through the fields and it was lovely and sunny. I then went into town and bought my Mums Mother's Day present,I got her a book token gift card because she loves reading, I normally buy her the actual books but had to post the present so I thought a gift card was better, she can also have the pleasure of choosing her own books when the shops open again. I also sent a box of her favourite chocolates to go with it.
I also bought some bits of shopping while I was in town and paid the money into the bank that my mum gave me last week. I need to log in to my bank account later to transfer it into the house fund so I don't spend it.
I don't have much to do at home today apart from the chickens so I'm chilling out instead. I don't need to cook tonight because I made Mac and cheese last night and there is enough to last until Thursday because it's only me who will eat it, I added cauliflower to it and it's very yummy,I also had mustard to add to the cheese sauce this time which was a lot better. I do like sprinkling a tiny bit of nutmeg on top of cheese dishes too, it brings out the flavour of the cheese, the recipe on the packet of macaroni has leeks and panchetta added to it which sounds lovely but not vege friendly, I have yet to find a decent bacon substitute 😟bizarrely if I fancy a bacon sandwich I will have grilled Halloumi as it's salty taste in a sandwich reminds me of bacon 😀
I was thinking last night that when DD does move out and I am cooking for myself that due to my habit of cooking enough to make four portions and just eating that for four days I will only have to cook twice to make 8 meals, this will not only save time but possibly also money as well. DD buys her own food but does share some of the meals I make if I'm doing a bake of some sort, it saves her cooking when she gets in from work, she does make things that I can share but I don't always fancy it

    Your Mums present sounds lovely.
I can see how halloumi could give the same satisfaction as bacon with its saltiness.
Did you ever finish the jumper you were knitting for yourself?
