Now it’s pot luck who you get, I couldn’t tell you the names of any of the doctors at our surgery now.Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8941

My parents have both been given Omeprazole in the past. Mum stopped taking it after a week when she found the link with Osteoporosis but dad still has it for reflux . The acid makes his voice very hoarse rather than a cough though. He is monitored by my mum 😀, she was a nurse for 42 years and questions all tablets and medicines much to the chagrin of the doctors at the surgery.Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.2

Pay day today so I've checked my bank account and have moved money where it needs to go
DDs rent has gone into the house fund
The council tax has gone into the Christmas fund,I'm actually going to rename this because it also pays for birthdays as well 😊
I rounded down my account by £9.27 and added that to the Christmas fund as well 😊
The budget has been set for food for the month and this month I'm challenging myself to get down to £100 from £120 for the month, not a big drop but every little helps and I just want to see if it's possibleOriginal Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8944 -
Mr SA has an annual review of all his meds and they all just get signed off for another year. He has a lot of ongoing issues that just get written off as a consequence of strong chemo. That’s an extremely good amount for a monthly food budget, wish I could get mine so low. I don’t know where it all goes.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2

I stopped taking omeprazole because it didn't work anywhere near as well as cimetidine used to do. I'm fortunate enough to mostly be able to sort my problem by adjusting what I eat. No bread, definitely no pastry & no quite a few things & minimum stress!

Think you should definitely be more insistent with your doctors now you have read the leaflets and can see what should and shouldn't be taken together.
Have a lovely weekend OBL. XSeptember 2017 Debt = £25330
Starting afresh.
You can do anything if you put your mind to it. x2 -
OBL I think you should change your doctor as they sound awful. DS1 has changed his doctor twice in the last few years and the one he has now seems really good, so I'm hoping he has found the right surgery for him. I think a lot of GPs are a bit rubbish, I know they are very busy, but I know you have to take care of your own health rather then expect them to do it. Try not to worry about your cough as it's probably reflux. I was convinced DH had bone cancer when his hip was very painful but it turned out to be bursitis and arthritis ☺. I'm still glad he asked for an x-ray though as you can't be too careful.
I think it's a very good idea to save all of DD's money as it will be a nice little nest egg for doing up your house, plus you don't know how long you'll be getting it for. Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally
