  • What a nuisance with the bus pass. I wonder if it slipped between the bus seats or something. It could be anywhere. Have you checked your purse and bag in case you put it in there without thinking. I couldn’t find my credit card recently and I’d slipped it behind another card in my purse by mistake.

I hope you get the X-ray and your throat sorted out soon, it’s frightening when you can’t swallow properly. Hopefully your mind will be put at rest shortly and you’ll get treatment for the reflux 🤞
It was in its own little wallet so I normally just put it back in the pocket on the front of my Rucksack, it won't fit in my purse, I've looked in all my bags,I even looked in a handbag I haven't used since Christmas Day 😂😂 I probably put it in my pocket and it either fell out on the bus or on the  road when I got off

Hopefully I won't have to wait too long for an X-ray, the GP seems to want it done as soon as possible. I have choked a couple of times in the last month and I put that down to eating in a hurry but now I'm not so sure 😟

Hope everything goes ok with the blood tests and x rays for you. 🤞 easier said than done but try not to worry.....especially as you are a nurse 😂😂😂 all my friends and family that are nurses are terrible patients as they have medical knowledge....
I know exactly what you mean about nurses, doing the job I do is not good when you get suspicious symptoms yourself, I'm trying to convince myself it's because of the reflux which is entirely possible 😊

Try not to worry, easier said than done I know. They couldn’t have picked a worse time to show this advert, there must be quite a few people who have coughs left over from Covid. Better to be safe than sorry though.

Good news you have a replacement bus pass, that was quick 👏

I think that's why they are showing it though because people are apparently not getting checked out when in reality people are going to their GP but are being fobbed off because of covid and the its too late. I have been trying to get a chest X-ray since last September but my GP kept asking me to try other things first😟 then the GP I spoke to this week said anyone presenting with my symptoms should be offered an X-ray straight away. I haven't thought about it all day until I saw that flaming advert

The bus pass is issued by our car parking department at the hospital where I work, you just go to the office with a form and they give you one straight away, the form is to authorise the Payroll people to take the payment from your wages, I just hope that they don't take two lots because this is the second form I've  handed in 🙄

You have to persist if you’re worried. Mr SA was initially discharged from hospital with depression. Having lost my mum to a brain tumour I recognised the symptoms and refused to be fobbed off. According to our GP I saved his life by my persistence.
