Sun_Addict said:What a nuisance with the bus pass. I wonder if it slipped between the bus seats or something. It could be anywhere. Have you checked your purse and bag in case you put it in there without thinking. I couldn’t find my credit card recently and I’d slipped it behind another card in my purse by mistake.I hope you get the X-ray and your throat sorted out soon, it’s frightening when you can’t swallow properly. Hopefully your mind will be put at rest shortly and you’ll get treatment for the reflux 🤞
Hopefully I won't have to wait too long for an X-ray, the GP seems to want it done as soon as possible. I have choked a couple of times in the last month and I put that down to eating in a hurry but now I'm not so sure 😟Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8942 -

This afternoon I've done the usual house jobs and sorted the chickens. I cooked a pasta bake for tea to share with DD and Im now waiting for a programme to come on called The Great British Dig:History In Your Back Garden 😊tonight it's about a Viking burial ground in someone's garden 🙀
I also forgot to say that it's now day 5 of no naughty treats. I really struggled at work yesterday but didn't succumb 🎉🎉 today has been really easy and I haven't felt excessively hungry for a change 😀Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8945 -
Just popping in to wish you all the best for your appointment and hopefully all will soon be resolved.
Well done for resisting the naughty treats.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

Had a good day at work today😊I got my blood tests done while I was there so that saves a trip to the GP to have it done.i just need to wait for the X-ray appointment now. I had a bit of a panic earlier and can't stop thinking about it now, there is an advert on FB with Gabby Roslin urging people with a persistent cough of over 3 weeks to get it checked out by their Gp in case it's lung cancer, the comments were full of people who had had relatives diagnosed too late because they didn't get an X-ray in time 🙀😟 all the symptoms are the same as mine so it's frightened me now 😟 I wish I hadn't seen it but it keeps popping up,I just have to hope I don't have to wait too long for the X-ray because it's going to play on my mind now. I keep telling myself the cough is either left over from Covid or it's caused by the reflux
I also got my replacement bus pass today so that's a relief, I just have to find a safe place to keep it now, I was going to put it in my purse but it's only card and will get wrecked, I normally put it in a pass holder but I'm worried now that I will lose it again because I can't get another one until next year now, I will have to have a think about it
Today was not a NSD because I had to pay for a bus ticket to get to work
Tomorrow I've got the day off and no plans to go anywhere apart from a walk with B, I have some house stuff to do but not lots, if it's nice like it was today I might go and potter in the garden 😊

Try not to worry, easier said than done I know. They couldn’t have picked a worse time to show this advert, there must be quite a few people who have coughs left over from Covid. Better to be safe than sorry though.Good news you have a replacement bus pass, that was quick 👏I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2

The bus pass is issued by our car parking department at the hospital where I work, you just go to the office with a form and they give you one straight away, the form is to authorise the Payroll people to take the payment from your wages, I just hope that they don't take two lots because this is the second form I've handed in 🙄Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8944 -
You have to persist if you’re worried. Mr SA was initially discharged from hospital with depression. Having lost my mum to a brain tumour I recognised the symptoms and refused to be fobbed off. According to our GP I saved his life by my persistence.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3

I forgot to say earlier that it's payday tomorrow so I will be sorting a new budget. I really need to keep a closer eye on my budget now I've cut my hours,I've been a bit lax with lockdownitis and I'm falling into the trap of thinking I've got DDs money to fall back on if things go a bit pear shaped. I haven't actually had to use any of this money and have transferred it all into my savings so I know I can manage without it. I need to make sure I plan plan plan 😀 I should also have my council tax money to put into savings this month so will be chucking that in the Christmas pot tomorrowOriginal Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8945
